Hi, I’m Elisa Lewis, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. I specialize in helping individuals and couples create healthier relationships, build self-confidence, and find greater balance in life. My approach combines evidence-based methods—such as CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy—with compassion and collaboration. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.
During our first session, you can expect a calm and compassionate space where you feel supported and at ease. We’ll have an open, thoughtful conversation that allows you to share your story and experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
One of my greatest strengths is creating a welcoming and supportive space where clients feel truly heard and valued. I take a collaborative approach, working alongside you with understanding and without judgment. My focus is always on what matters most to you—your needs, your values—so together we can build confidence in the process and move toward the goals that feel meaningful for your life.
I work with individuals and couples who feel they aren’t living life to its fullest potential for joy, growth, and meaningful connection. My approach draws on evidence-based methods, including EFT for couples and CBT, psychodynamic, DBT, and mindfulness-based therapies for individuals. I aim to help clients cultivate balance, fulfillment, and deeper relationships while reducing emotional suffering through a compassionate, mindful approach. Supporting couples and working with people from diverse backgrounds are both passions and areas of specialty for me.
I utilize CBT to help clients understand how their unhelpful thinking affects their feelings and behaviors. I educate clients about coping skills so they are able to intervene before their unhelpful thinking starts to impact their behaviors.
I utilize Psychodynamic Therapy to help clients become more self-aware by understanding how the past has influence their present behavior.
I use EFT to help couples understand their negative cycle and repair their attachment injuries.
I utilize IFS to help clients understand their parts better and get comfortable accepting their parts.

Elisa has been great as a couples therapist. She challenges us to get to the core of what's wrong. She wants us to dig deep to search for the underlying emotions behind what is going on. She is also straightforward, and that makes for a good therapist to me.
