New to Grow
Hello! I am a school counselor and licensed professional counselor with over 16 years of experience working with elementary, middle school, high school, and post-secondary aged students. In recent years, I have branched into therapy work as a part-time job in addition to my day job as an elementary school counselor and therapy dog handler. I am an open-minded, compassionate professional who excels at finding the good in all people. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you toward reaching your goals!
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other. I will guide you in developing your goals for our work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength lies in my ability to find the good in others. I believe we all have a unique constellation of strengths inside us. My job is to be an unbiased, open-minded listener to help you find and build on those strengths to reach your goals.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My experience is predominantly in working with children, teens, and young adults. I most frequently work with clients who are looking to develop healthy coping skills, stronger social skills, effective emotional regulation, better self-esteem, and/or create a positive self-concept. Additionally, I have experience with school-age career counseling. I operate from a strengths-focused approach and encourage a positive mindset towards change and growth. I'm an open-minded professional who is comfortable working with diverse individuals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
