Hello, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I earned my Master’s degree at Mount Saint Mary’s University. I have worked with women for the past 6 years during pregnancy and postpartum time periods of life, as well as during other transitions in life. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals, particularly women, as they navigate the unique challenges of life’s transitions.
In our first session we will start with brief introductions and discuss specific issues you are experiencing. We will explore symptoms frequency and duration to determine best treatment plan for your specific needs.
My approach is rooted in empathy and respect for each individual’s journey. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, validated, and supported as they explore their identities, relationships, and personal growth.
My work centers with a specialization in perinatal mental health, I offer compassionate, person-centered care that acknowledges the profound emotional, physical, and psychological changes that come with pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood. I also recognize that women’s experiences with body image, societal expectations, and gender roles can have a lasting impact on their mental and emotional health. My goal is to create a space where women can heal from past traumas, challenge societal pressures, and build a strong sense of self-worth.
My approach is rooted in empathy and respect for each individual’s journey. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, validated, and supported as they explore their identities, relationships, and personal growth.
I use CBT as an evidence based theory to support each client on their journey, providing skill to their tool belt for day to day life.
In address the complexities of life, I support clients in processing their past, working together to honor your unique experience and promote well-being.
