I am so glad you are seeking help for whatever is troubling you. I am passionate about helping individuals feel better and improve their quality of life. Whether it's to solve problems, improve the ability to cope with the enormous difficulties facing us during these very challenging times, or heal from past or recent trauma, I'm ready to work with you to start making a change. I work with people struggling with relationship problems, mood disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, and PTSD, as well as gender affirming therapy for the daily struggles faced by the LGBTQ+ community. --- No judgement here! I have an office for those who are in close enough proximity to visit in person, as well as tele-health, giving access to most everyone. I am free spirited, transparent, and real. I have 20+ years of experience working with various populations in a crisis setting, outpatient behavioral health clinics, school health, and private practice. I attended graduate school at Temple University where I earned my master's degree in Social Work.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session is a chance for us to get to know one another, to determine if we are a good fit to work together. A trusting relationship is crucial for a positive therapy experience. At the end of the session, you get to decide if you wish to continue working together or not. You don't have to worry that you are stuck.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
My therapy is very individualized, and person centered (you won't be working through some manual that -a. you could purchase for yourself from amazon, and b. assumes that everyone's problems fit into a box). I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Creative Art Expression, Trauma Informed Person-Centered, and EMDR. I am a Certified Trauma Specialist, and a Certified Adolescent Trauma Specialist.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I am a very warm, friendly person. I like to laugh, and I think therapy should be enjoyable experience.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I will work with you wherever you are on your mental health journey. I'm open to working with relationship problems, grief and loss, trauma, mood disorders, and LGBTQ issues including kink.

On our first session she was very warm and inviting. Friendly and seemed very eager to dive into helping with my current issues and situation.
