(She/Her)
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. I specialize in treating individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and emotional dysregulation, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) alongside thoughtful medication management. My approach is collaborative and supportive, focused on helping you build practical skills, gain insight, and create meaningful, lasting change. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered in your mental health journey.
During your first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to treatment. I will ask about your current concerns, symptoms, personal history, and any past treatment experiences, including therapy or medications. This is also an opportunity for you to share your goals and what you hope to gain from care. We will work together to begin identifying patterns, discuss initial impressions, and develop a personalized plan that may include therapy, medication management, or a combination of both. I will also answer any questions you have about the process so you feel informed and comfortable moving forward. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood from the very first session.
My greatest strengths lie in my ability to provide a balanced, integrative approach to mental health care that combines evidence-based therapy with thoughtful medication management. I focus on creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel safe, heard, and empowered to engage in their treatment. I am particularly skilled in translating therapeutic concepts into practical, easy-to-apply strategies, drawing from approaches such as CBT and DBT to help patients build effective coping skills and improve emotional regulation. My style is collaborative and goal-oriented, allowing me to tailor treatment plans to each individual’s needs, strengths, and readiness for change. Additionally, I prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships and maintaining a consistent, structured approach, which supports meaningful progress and sustainable outcomes over time.
I work best with individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained and are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, or major life transitions. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just a willingness to show up and explore your experiences. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to build coping skills, improve emotional balance, and help you feel more in control of your life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
In my practice as a PMHNP, I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), developed by Marsha M. Linehan, as a skills-based approach to support patients with emotional dysregulation and maladaptive coping. I integrate core DBT components—mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness—into individual sessions while maintaining a balance between validation and behavioral change. I also use tools such as chain analysis and skills coaching to address problematic behaviors. DBT is integrated with medication management to enhance symptom stabilization, improve coping, and promote long-term functional outcomes.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I approach CBT as a structured, goal-oriented intervention that targets the interaction between cognition, emotion, and behavior. Early in treatment, I focus on: Establishing rapport and therapeutic alliance Identifying target symptoms (e.g., anxiety, depression, maladaptive coping) Collaboratively setting measurable treatment goals I also assess the patient’s insight, cognitive flexibility, and readiness for change, which helps guide pacing and depth of interventions.
