I’m a warm, open-minded clinician who works with adults to manage anxiety, process complex emotions, and strengthen self-worth. I strive to create a supportive, compassionate space where you feel safe, seen, and accepted as you move toward healing. I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and a range of diagnoses. My approach is eclectic and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals, drawing from a variety of evidence-based therapies.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and ensure therapy feels like a good fit. We’ll talk about what brings you in, your goals, and any questions you have. This initial session also includes a gentle intake to help me understand your background and needs, all at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe everyone is worthy of support and compassion. It's an honor to guide you on your path to healing, authenticity, and growth. I welcome individuals of all identities and practice with cultural humility—LGBTQIA+ folks are fully embraced and affirmed in this space. My therapeutic approach is humanistic, holistic, and trauma-informed. I draw from a variety of modalities based on your individual needs and goals—including ACT, DBT, CBT, and Self-Compassion—while focusing on nervous system regulation, emotion regulation, stress management, empowerment, and cultivating self-love.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship difficulties, burnout, and major life transitions. I also support individuals exploring their identity and sense of self. Whether you’re hoping to find relief from intense emotions or gain deeper insight into your experiences, we can work together to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to your inner strengths.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals better cope with uncertainty and intrusive thoughts. This approach emphasizes learning how to coexist with difficult emotions, rather than avoiding them, while developing mindfulness skills to stay present and reduce future-focused anxiety. Together, we focus on taking meaningful steps toward a life that reflects your values.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to help you better understand and regulate intense emotions, as well as soothe an overactive nervous system. This approach can be especially helpful if you experience strong emotional reactions or trauma responses. Together, we also work on strengthening communication and boundary-setting skills to support healthier relationships, while building tools to tolerate distress and respond with greater mindfulness rather than impulsivity.

Compassion Focused

Through Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), I aim to provide a supportive environment where you feel safe bringing your full, vulnerable self. Together, we work on developing self-compassion, shifting away from self-criticism toward a more curious and understanding inner voice. This process can help strengthen confidence and support you in connecting with a more authentic version of yourself.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I support clients in exploring their emotions more deeply and meaningfully. Together, we look beyond surface reactions like anger or defensiveness to better understand the underlying feelings and needs beneath them—such as fears of abandonment, longing for connection, or self-doubt. This process helps increase comfort with difficult emotions and fosters a deeper sense of emotional understanding and connection.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I support clients in exploring how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected. Together, we work to identify and reframe unhelpful thinking patterns and self-critical beliefs, while building healthy coping strategies to navigate stress and everyday challenges.
