I am a licensed clinician with 10 years of professional experience supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. I have worked extensively with clients navigating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, addictions, low self-esteem, confidence issues, and motivation difficulties. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, focusing on helping clients better understand themselves, build practical coping skills, and develop healthier ways of managing life’s challenges. I believe that healing takes courage, and I honor the strength it takes to seek change and begin that process. I work alongside my clients to support emotional growth, increase self-awareness, and empower them to create more fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns, background, and what you’re hoping to get out of counseling, but there’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. We’ll also go over what therapy with me looks like, answer any questions you have, and start to identify some initial goals together. My priority is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you feel heard and not judged. You can expect the pace to be guided by you, and we’ll focus on building trust and understanding so we can figure out the best way to move forward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a calm, compassionate, and grounded presence to my sessions, with a strong focus on creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and truly heard. My 10 years of clinical experience have given me the ability to work effectively with a wide range of concerns, while staying flexible and meeting each client where they are. What stands out about my approach is that I balance warmth and support with practical, evidence-based strategies. I draw from modalities like CBT, DBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care to help clients build insight while also developing real-life coping tools they can use outside of sessions. I also place a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship itself, believing that trust, collaboration, and genuine connection are central to meaningful change. I aim to empower clients to better understand themselves, reduce self-criticism, and move toward goals that feel authentic and sustainable.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve clients who are experiencing PTSD, trauma, domestic violence, addiction, self-esteem concerns, anxiety, depression, panic disorder, stress, and relationship challenges. I also work with clients navigating abuse, coping skills development, and both women’s and men’s issues. I aim to support individuals who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, and are looking to build healthier coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen their relationships. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping clients feel more grounded, empowered, and supported in their healing process.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is used to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In my practice, I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge them, and develop healthier ways of coping and responding to situations. We work together to build awareness and practical skills they can use outside of therapy.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling with me focuses on helping partners better understand each other, improve communication, and work through conflict in a healthier way. I create a space where both people feel heard while helping identify patterns that may be impacting the relationship. Together, we work on building connection, trust, and skills to navigate challenges as a team.

Compassion Focused

Compassion-focused therapy focuses on helping clients develop more understanding and kindness toward themselves. In my practice, I help clients explore self-criticism, shame, and difficult emotions while building self-compassion and healthier ways of responding to themselves and others. The goal is to create more emotional safety and support personal growth.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is about helping clients become more present and aware of their thoughts, feelings, and body without judgment. In my practice, I use mindfulness to help clients slow down, notice what they’re experiencing in the moment, and respond more intentionally rather than reacting automatically.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is a collaborative approach that helps clients explore ambivalence and strengthen their own motivation for change. In my practice, I use open-ended questions, reflection, and affirmation to help clients clarify their goals and move toward changes that feel meaningful and realistic for them.
