(she/her)
Some days, it is hard to feel like yourself. Maybe your mind will not slow down, your mood feels heavy, your focus is scattered, or daily life feels harder than it used to. For teens, it may show up as school stress, irritability, anxiety, low motivation, or feeling overwhelmed. Wherever you are starting from, care should feel respectful, practical, and supportive. I'm Ina Wibowo, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Doctor of Nursing Practice. I provide telehealth psychiatric care to adolescents (13+) and adults across Texas, New York, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Florida, and Washington — from the privacy of wherever you feel safest. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar and mood disorders, OCD, trauma and PTSD, postpartum and perinatal mental health, school stress, grief, burnout, and life transitions — always with a trauma-informed lens. My approach blends evidence-based medication management with genuine listening. Medication, when it's right, is always a collaboration — never a one-size-fits-all script. My style is calm, collaborative, and honest. We will talk through what has been going on, what has helped before, what has not, and what you are hoping to feel differently. If medication is part of the plan, we will make that decision together with clear education and realistic expectations — not pressure, judgment, or a one-size-fits-all approach. Your care should feel like a conversation, not a script. We will move at a pace that feels safe, build a plan that fits your real life, and focus on helping you feel more steady, supported, and understood. For ADHD at every age, I take a non-stimulant approach (Strattera, Wellbutrin, Qelbree) and partner with you on lifestyle and CBT-based strategies. I do not prescribe stimulants such as Adderall, Vyvanse, or Ritalin.
You don't need to prepare anything or have your story polished. Bring a quiet, private spot, a pharmacy address, and an open mind. We'll spend most of the 45 minutes in conversation — what brought you in, what's been hard, what's worked, what hasn't. I'll ask questions, you can ask anything back, and if a topic feels too heavy on day one we slow down. We'll end with a clear plan, a written summary, and a scheduled follow-up. No pressure, no rushed prescribing.
Fifteen years across trauma, ICU, critical care, and mental health shapes how I show up — calm under pressure, rigorous about evidence, and steady when symptoms feel overwhelming. As a dual board-certified adult-gerontology and psychiatric NP, I bring a whole-body view to mental health care. I work with anxiety, depression, bipolar and mood disorders, OCD, trauma and PTSD, postpartum and perinatal mental health, school stress, grief, burnout, and life transitions — always through a trauma-informed lens, always grounded in evidence-based therapy (CBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing) alongside conservative medication management.
The people I serve best are at a turning point. New parents struggling in silence with postpartum anxiety or intrusive thoughts. Adults realizing the anxiety or low mood they've carried for years deserves real attention. Teens and college students buckling under school stress they can't talk about at home. Caregivers running on empty. Older adults navigating loss, retirement, or health changes that nobody around them seems to notice. Professionals deep in burnout. Anyone living with OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, or trauma who wants a provider who's both calm and rigorous. My clients tend to share a few things in common: they want care that takes time, they want to understand the "why" behind every recommendation, and they're done with prescribers who don't listen. If that sounds like you — whether you're starting psychiatric care for the first time or restarting after a bad fit — we'll work well together. You don't have to have it figured out before you book.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Clients often find themselves caught in negative thought patterns that can contribute to their struggles. Together, we gently explore and challenge these thoughts, helping to reframe them into a more positive perspective. We’ll explore relaxation techniques and develop problem-solving skills to help break overwhelming tasks into smaller, more manageable steps. Our work together is aimed at reducing stress and strengthening coping mechanisms, fostering a sense of resilience and empowerment
Strength-Based
Strength-based therapy emphasizes individuals' strengths and resources, encouraging them to build on their skills and abilities to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a short-term, goal-oriented approach that emphasizes clients' strengths to create positive change. It focuses on building solutions rather than analyzing problems. SFBT helps clients envision desired outcomes and identify steps to achieve them.
