My name is Stacy, and I am a licensed professional counselor who shows up as a real human first. My goal is to create a space where you can exhale and talk honestly about what you are carrying. Life gets heavy. Sometimes it feels like you are trying to make sense of things that no one ever taught you how to handle. Therapy with me is not about perfection. It is about understanding yourself, gaining clarity, and feeling supported instead of judged. I use trauma informed and attachment based approaches because our past shapes how we see ourselves and how we move through relationships. I pay attention to the mind and the body, and I help you notice what is really happening beneath the surface. We move at your pace, and we figure out what works for you. I value calm, conversation, and helping you build skills that actually make sense in real life. People often tell me that therapy with me feels comfortable and genuine. I am honest, grounded, and willing to challenge you in a way that still feels safe. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, ADHD, or self worth issues, I am here to help you make sense of your story and move toward a steadier and more confident version of yourself.

You’ve been strong for so long. You’ve held it all together for work, family, everyone else — but inside you’re tired of surviving. You’re craving peace, connection, and a life that finally feels like yours. Hi, I’m Jackie — a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Healing Haven. My clients describe therapy with me as “where science meets soul.” It’s a place where the weight you’ve carried can finally be set down, and the real you can breathe again. I blend powerful evidence-based methods — EMDR, Brainspotting, CBT, DBT, ACT, Attachment, and Inner-Child work — with the heart and intuition of relationship therapy inspired by the Gottmans and Esther Perel. Each session is customized with warmth, humor, and grace, designed to meet you right where you are and gently move you forward. Whether you’re healing trauma, calming anxiety, or rebuilding love after heartbreak, I’ll walk beside you with compassion and truth. I’ll challenge you when you’re ready, sit with you when it hurts, and remind you of the strength you’ve had all along. Hope lives here, and together, we’ll bring you home to yourself. Hello! My name is Laura Lininger, LCSW. I attended Indiana University and got my BA in Psychology and then moved on to Tulane University in NOLA for my Masters in Social Work. I have worked for many years doing child and adolescent therapy and then later added working with adults to the services I provide. I believe my child and adolescent therapy background has been a great foundation for working with adults who are dealing with childhood trauma or family of origin issues. As for treatment approaches, I use Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR. I also include a lot of mindfulness practice in my work with clients. I am proud to provide a safe environment for all races, genders, religions, and clients from the LGBTQ community.

Hi, I am Jenn, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Telemental Health Provider, and the owner of Epijennetics Counseling and Consulting in Libertyville, Illinois. Epijennetics Counseling is located just outside of downtown Libertyville off of Milwaukee Avenue in Forum Square. You can read more about my work and practice at www.epijennetics.com. As a therapist, I hold the belief that we cannot fully understand mental health without first understanding the impact of our stories, our relationships, and our beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world. I am passionate about helping clients increase their self-awareness of these things so that they are more in touch with their feelings, needs, and desires, and are more equipped with the knowledge and tools to create the life that they want. By utilizing assessments such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to better understand personality and the Young Schema Assessment to explore harmful thoughts and beliefs that came from previous experiences and messages received during childhood years, I help clients discover hidden obstacles that keep them from having the life they dream of. I have found that when we put in the work to make sense of ourselves and our stories, we not only heal and grow ourselves but also develop more compassion and increased understanding of others. Often this growth and healing process lessens mental health symptoms such as anxiety and depression and improves overall quality of life, as well as relationship quality. If you are interested in doing some exploring, I would love to hear from you! (Please make an in-office appointment if you are booking Couple or Family therapy sessions.)

As a therapist, I attempt to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without shame, blame, guilt or judgment. I believe it's important to listen to your story, your questions, and help you as you set and reach your goals. I'll help you through teaching you about the patterns may be keeping you stuck, then applying the best approach to help you with practical tools, developing healthy and effective coping skills, challenging negative patterns, and fostering self-compassion. Ultimately, I want to help you make the positive changes you want, achieve personal and relational growth, and become your own best support and friend.

I use a client-led and strengths based approach to therapy. I like to think of myself as a tour guide for patients who are navigating unknown territory. I want to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to go. Clients can count on being respected, heard, and understood. They receive feedback that is tactful, but direct. They can expect that healing will begin in sessions and that they will know what to do to between sessions to continue the healing.

I believe we’re all capable of creating positive change, and that personal growth is a lifelong journey. Life, however, has a way of getting complicated. Challenges arise, emotions run high, and our perspective can become clouded—making it hard to see the next step forward. That’s where having someone neutral, honest, and supportive in your corner can make a real difference. My role is to help you make sense of what’s happening, gain fresh insight, and find a clearer path toward your goals. Together, we’ll work on building awareness, resilience, and confidence so you can move forward with purpose and peace of mind.

Whatever obstacles and struggles someone may be going through in life, I consider it a privilege to help them cope. I understand that the clients I see are entrusting me to give them the right resources to guide them down a new path, with a new perspective, so they can achieve their own goals. With a healthy balance of listening, guiding, and even learning, I take pride in using my own experience and resources to help people really start off on the right foot on that path. Whether you, or someone you know struggles with something like anxiety, or simply wants a different outlook on their life, it’s something to work through together, and by setting up a consultation, we can get started.

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by Wisconsin rather than a city like Milwaukee?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Wisconsin from Madison to Green Bay! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Wisconsin.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

What are the "Clients say I'm" badges?

Grow Therapy asks patients about their experience with therapists after they have had a certain number of sessions. After enough responses, we add those characteristics to their profiles to help you find the best online therapists for you. We're still working on collecting this information from all our therapists.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What to expect during your first session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs.

Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
