I draw from a blend of therapeutic approaches, professional experience, and life experience, grounded in compassion and a genuine desire to understand your story. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are. Together, we will explore your path toward a deeper understanding of who you are and where you want to be. I also believe that each of us holds the answers within—we all have the capacity to grow and succeed. At times, having an impartial, supportive presence can make all the difference. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for ten years now. You will always know yourself better than I can or will. From a philosophical and theoretical standpoint. I am overwhelming more of an attachment theorist, and have been known to use existentialism from time to time to help make sense of something. I guess the question that remains though is; can a butterfly flap it's wings in Brazil and cause a tornado in Kentucky, or are we all simply just products of our childhood and mirrors of our parents traumas? The duality of life. Attachment Theory vs. Chaos Theory. Both have value. I digress. My goal is to provide a petridish in which you can explore your self. Safe. Contained. Yet completely in your control. The paradox being, you likely already have what you need. I'll sit with you while you find it. I can give you my clinical opinion, or diagnosis, and recommendations along the way as well if you'd like that. I can just sit and listen. I can play devils advocate. My job is to listen, empower, observe, and provide feedback when requested.

Steven Johnston CPC LPCC-S has been a clinical counselor for over twenty years, with special training in the areas of Pastoral Counseling , having additonal experience in treating victims of Domestic Violence ; Child Sexual Abuse; Trauma, workplace issues and Marital counseling. A graduate from Ashland Theological Seminary in 1988. Because Mr. Johnston did not want to exclude religious commitment issues from the therapeutic setting, he chose to pursue his Counseling degree from Ashland Seminary after graduating with ministerial degree from the Foursquare Church of the Gospel’s, Life Bible College East. He has continued to extend his Clinical Pastoral Studies through membership and training in the American Association of Christian Counselors. To avoid excluding an aspect of life that has shown to be of central importance to nearly two-thirds of the US population, Mr. Johnston has sought to integrate spiritual issues from a Biblical point of view in a way compatible with Biblical doctrine and Pastoral Counseling. This integration as it applies to marital, family and individual issues has been found to promote inner healing as it supports the client’s own religious coping skills.

Hello, I am Chrissy Dingledine. I was born and raised in Ohio and in the past few years I moved to North Carolina. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with my Master's in Social Work in 2012. I am currently independently licensed in Ohio and North Carolina. I have had a range of experience from providing crisis and solution focused treatment in a jail setting, providing holistic and solution focused treatment in a medical clinic, and providing care to adolescents in the school setting. Each setting has helped me grow as a provider and a person. One commonality from each experience is that we are all human and we all need support throughout our lives, and there is no shame in this. I am here to provide you with a safe space where you can speak openly and honestly. I want you to feel supported, seen and heard as you share personal details of your life. Together, we will work on finding ways to improve your well-being so you feel more confident in your lifestyle.

I work with adults age 20 and over, and people often describe me as accepting, empathetic, and real — with a sense of humor that helps therapy feel approachable and genuine. My goal is to create a space where you feel both supported and challenged as you work toward your goals. My approach blends humor, honesty, and evidence-based strategies to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns (like cognitive distortions) and promote self-acceptance. Whether you’re hoping to manage stress, improve relationships, or reconnect with your sense of worth, I offer a safe, affirming space to do meaningful work — and maybe even share a laugh along the way. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start therapy. If something here resonates with you, send me a message — I’d be happy to talk about how we can work together.

Hi, I’m Raven. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor in Ohio. I work with teens and adults, especially college students and young adults, who are dealing with anxiety, ADHD-related challenges, perfectionism, and the pressure to keep it all together. These concerns are personal to me, too. I’ve experienced anxiety, ADHD, and perfectionism, and I know what it’s like to place high expectations on yourself, work hard to do well, and still question whether you’re good enough. I also know what it’s like to struggle on the inside while keeping it together on the outside, so other people don’t realize how much you’re carrying. Your experience may look different from mine, and I want to get to know your story. Maybe you replay conversations, feel overwhelmed by everyday tasks, or have a hard time giving yourself credit for anything. Maybe you’re tired of being so hard on yourself but aren’t sure how to stop. My style is warm, supportive, and honest. I’ll listen, help you make sense of what’s going on, and gently challenge you when it could help. Together, we’ll find ways to manage what feels difficult, build confidence, and make changes that fit your life. You don’t have to impress me or have the right words. Come as you are—we’ll figure out where to start together. I would love to take this next step in your journey with you and support and encourage you along the way!

Hi, I’m Sema—and I get it. I know that when you’re going through a difficult time, it can feel like no one truly hears you. Sometimes, even well-meaning people try to “fix” things without fully understanding what you're going through. That’s why I aim to offer something different: a safe, judgment-free space where you feel genuinely heard. My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, connection, and collaboration. I believe in working alongside my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, identify the core of their challenges, and build practical tools to manage and move through them. Together, we don’t just talk about the problem—we work toward healing, growth, and long-term resilience. I earned my LMSW from Wayne State University in 2016 and have since supported individuals navigating a wide range of challenges including mental health concerns, grief and loss, substance use, complex family dynamics, and the emotional toll of physical health issues. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and integrative therapeutic techniques that help clients reframe negative thought patterns, develop coping strategies, and move toward becoming the best version of themselves. You don't have to do this alone. I'm here to support you, listen to you and walk with you through whatever you're facing.

I’m a clinical psychologist based in Ohio who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, identity concerns, and the pressure to “have it all together.” I take a genuinely collaborative approach to therapy and put a lot of care into building a strong, trusting relationship where you don’t have to censor yourself. My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which means we’ll focus less on “fixing” or fighting your feelings and more on getting clear about your values and building a life that feels meaningful to you. Instead of trying to shut emotions down, I help clients learn how to make space for feelings, respond with compassion, and use practical coping skills to stay present and move toward what matters most. I’ve spent much of my career working with college and graduate students, so I’m familiar with the unique stressors of academic life, emerging adulthood, and major life transitions. I approach therapy through a lens of cultural humility, actively honoring how your race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, neurodivergence, religion or spirituality, class background, and other identities shape your experiences. I work to create a space where your culture and identities are not just “respected,” but meaningfully integrated into our work together, and where your values and lived experience guide our goals and the way we move through therapy. As a Certified Geek Therapist, I enjoy working with clients whose “geeky” interests—like video games, anime, superheroes, board games, and TTRPGs—are a meaningful part of their lives. Together, we can use your fandoms and favorite stories as tools for insight, coping, and growth, treating them as strengths rather than quirks you have to hide in therapy.

I’m Michael Woods Jr., a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 15 years of experience. I help people who are dealing with stress, pressure, and feeling stuck—even when things on the outside look like they should be working. My approach is real and straightforward. I’m not just here to listen—I’m here to help you understand what’s actually going on and give you practical tools you can use in your everyday life. I focus a lot on how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, and how to start responding differently instead of reacting on autopilot. A big part of my work is helping people build awareness, take ownership, and develop the mental skills needed to handle challenges more effectively. I also bring in my background in athletics and performance, so there’s an emphasis on consistency, discipline, and doing the work—not just talking about it.

My clients have laughed, cried, practiced new things, and worked very, very hard. The only thing I ask, as a therapist, is to have hope and do the work. Each client is a functioning part of a larger whole that wants to stay the same. I see no sense in blaming a person for situations they did not create; it's what each person does that counts.

My name is Michael Starr, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I believe therapy is more than just problem-solving, it’s a place to rediscover who you are, heal what’s been hidden, and move forward with clarity and strength. I work with individuals, couples, and families facing anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, identity questions, and emotional overwhelm. My style is honest, grounded, and deeply respectful of the human experience. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused CBT, but I also hold space for what cannot always be explained, your story, your meaning, your growth. Clients often come to me feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Together, we uncover the patterns keeping you there and build the insight, skills, and resilience to move through them. You won’t be rushed or judged. You’ll be heard, supported, and challenged when needed. You don’t have to have all the answers. You just have to be willing to start. My name is Amber. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of Ohio. My role is to empower you on this journey of self-actualization. I bring authenticity, warmth, and a solution-oriented approach. We will be working side by side to identify your goals, values, and strengths. From there, we will process past experiences to help you move on to becoming your best self. I have been helping clients achieve their goals for the past several years. These clients range from the age of one-year-old to over fifty-years-old. About 60% of my clients are 12 and under. In working with younger children, I have had the most success using telehealth when parents are present to monitor, arrange a predictable environment, and assist with any technical issues. In working with younger children, the parents’ role is vital. I work as a team with parents and caregivers to build a healthy relationship and find the appropriate strengths-based parenting strategies for the child. Recommended parenting techniques are largely based on the Conscious Discipline model which encourages mindful parenting. With younger children, the parents’ cooperation is imperative to reach desired behavioral goals. I also draw from the approaches outlined in Working with Challenging Youth by Brent Richardson, Ed.D.

I have been licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor since 2004, and have held a supervision designation since 2015. I have also held a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a supervision/training designation license since 2018. I have maintained a private counseling practice in Chillicothe since 2000, and I continue to work with individuals and families in that capacity. I have dedicated my career to helping others and to working with the community to ensure the well-being of families and children. My most common theoretical approaches are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Christian Therapy, but I am proud to be able to use a multitude of approaches, dependent on what works best for the client(s) involved. I value the individual and the couple regardless of age or philosophical approach to their life or relationship. I see my goal of treatment as improving the individual or couple to be the best they want to be. My communication tone or approach tends to be direct but laid back. We are in session to work together, not have me tell you what to do or where you need to go.

At different points in our lives, we may encounter challenges that feel overwhelming. Often, the hardest step is simply reaching out for help. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio, credentialed by the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. I hold national certifications from the National Board for Certified Counselors as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC). I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University (2022) and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University (2020). I served as Secretary on the Board for the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities of Ohio from 2022 - 2025 and was honored to be the 2022–2023 Emerging Leader for the Ohio Association for Specialists in Group Work.
