I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical, combining compassion with evidence-based strategies to help you make meaningful changes. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, insomnia, substance use concerns, and life stressors. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop effective coping skills, and work toward the life you want to create.
Outside of being a counselor I am a dad of one teen son, a Maine guide, and Brazilian Jiu jitsu black belt. I am also a founding member of a veterans outdoor non-profit that supports healing from the mental and physical pains of war. My own journey to becoming a counselor started with a personal loss that allowed me to experience the benefits of therapy. This has informed my approach as a counselor.
Jonathan is a therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with authenticity, compassion, and practical guidance. Drawing on years of experience working in behavioral health and substance use recovery, Jonathan believes that healing begins with genuine human connection. His approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and rooted in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth, resilience, and meaningful change.
Jonathan specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, life transitions, and relationship challenges. He creates a space where clients feel safe to be themselves, explore difficult emotions, and develop the skills needed to build healthier, more fulfilling lives. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, Jonathan works to understand each client’s unique story, recognizing that lasting change comes from addressing the whole person.
Known for his warmth, humor, and direct yet compassionate style, Jonathan balances empathy with accountability. He believes therapy should be both supportive and empowering, helping clients identify their strengths while challenging the patterns that may be holding them back. His work emphasizes resilience, self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the importance of meaningful relationships in the healing process.
I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with nearly twenty years of experience across community mental health, forensic settings, and psychiatric emergency services. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, relationship challenges, and chronic pain, including specialized experience with veterans, for which I received the 2023 Judge Paul F. Healey Award for Veterans Services. My approach is relational, warm and non-judgmental, integrating CBT, mindfulness-based methods, and Pain Reprocessing Therapy to address the connection between mind, body, and overall well-being. I tailor treatment to each person's strengths, goals, and pace, and I believe real change happens when clients feel genuinely seen and safe enough to go deeper.
I am a therapist who provides a supportive, collaborative, and goal-oriented space for adults and older adults. For more than 10 years, I have worked with older adults across a variety of settings, helping individuals navigate life transitions, aging-related challenges, emotional stress, health concerns, grief, and changes in independence or relationships.
This experience has given me a deep understanding of the unique emotional and practical needs that can arise throughout adulthood and later life. I focus on helping clients build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and improve overall well-being while creating a space where they feel heard, respected, and empowered. My goal is to help clients make meaningful progress, improve daily functioning, and feel more confident in managing life’s challenges.
Even when things look fine on the outside, you might feel anxious, burned out, disconnected, or just not like yourself. Maybe you're facing a major change, experiencing difficult emotions, carrying the weight of chronic stress or health challenges, or dealing with something you can't quite name. Maybe you're just tired of feeling stuck. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, acute and chronic medical conditions, and life transitions. I welcomes into my practice anyone who’s ready to explore what healing might look like for them.
Therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about having a space where you don’t have to pretend. A space where you can exhale, say the hard things out loud, and feel seen. This is the kind of space I strive to create in every session—where you can be real, be heard, and begin to find your way forward.

My name is Dr. Olushola Bakare, and my work centers on helping people recognize the strengths they already carry. Just as a fish is built to swim and a bird to fly, I believe each of us has our own natural way of moving through life, and my role is to help you find and lean into yours. I work with adults and older adults who are ready to feel more grounded, confident, and understood, in a space that is safe, warm, and free of judgment. To help make sure we are the right fit from the start, I want to be upfront that my practice does not currently include couples counseling, medication management, or completing disability, FMLA, or legal paperwork. I work with adults 18 years and older. If any of these are part of what you are looking for, I am happy to help you find a provider whose practice is built around that support.

Greetings, I'm Una. I am glad you are here! You are exercising courage right now as you search for a provider but finding someone to meet your needs can be daunting! So read on and don't stop until you have someone you can trust in your corner!
We heal through connection and my style reflects that person centered framework. I will come beside you and help you feel safe and confident that you will be seen and heard without judgment. I will answer your questions and if I don't know, I will work to connect you to resources or information. I have decades of experience and training and I've been through my share of hardships. So I am a clinician and a client. I'm a mother and grandmother. I'm an artist and a researcher. Music, creativity and nature are my outlets and I seek connection and feedback when I struggle. I'm genuine and I am grateful that I can help others. I hope to offer that to you.
Therapy is not a one size fits all service so I will treat you as an individual who may be overwhelmed with emotions, thoughts and behavior. I understand how trauma, early childhood experiences and grief can impact our functioning. I know that substance misuse can impact our health. I understand that life adjustments like marriage, having children, and career moves can rattle us and cause emotional distress . I also know that many struggle in silence and feel all alone. The problems don't resolve if not addressed and connection is key! Lets schedule a time to talk, let me be in your corner for a while.
I'm a Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with 19 years of clinical experience, 15 years licensed within private practice.
I consider myself to be bicultural. Having been raised as a first-generation American in a Latin family, I can identify with the mentality of someone living within two "worlds". Transitioning from one culture to another with seemingly different values, beliefs and language. I can easily understand the struggle that maintaining, and existing in both, can sometimes be. I've come to perceive and appreciate it as the gift of having a "bridge" that allows connection to, and understanding of, different aspects of people and life.
My education has a foundation in Clinical Psychology, woven with holistic transpersonal themes, the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and just plain down-to-earth common sense. Always keeping in mind the client's personal beliefs and values.
I have been a therapist for 20 years, and am also a Certified Grief Counselor. I also have experience in corrections, substance abuse clinics, and residential treatment facilities. I can help you address and resolve the concerns that are bringing you to therapy.
You deserve support that meets you where you are. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, seeking clarity, looking to make sense of it all, or just need space to breathe, please reach out. I’d be happy to help.
Hello, my name is Bernard Scott, and I live in Boston Massachusetts. I attended Boston Public Schools, attended Boston University for my bachelor's degree, Simmons University for my master's degree, and Southern California School of Professional Studies where I received my Doctorate (PsyD) in Counseling Psychology. I became licensed in (psychiatric) Clinical Social Work and received my LICSW License in 1996. I have been in this field for over 35 years and worked in a number of clinics, hospitals in Boston and Brockton. I enjoy helping people find their inner strength and work through those subconscious unresolved issues from the past so that the individual can finally be free from childhood traumas, past relationship issues ect. I strongly believe that between the developmental ages of 1 through 18 can and does affect who you are today and what ever happened to you between that time still has a hold on you today at the ages of 20, 30 50, etc. Getting rid of all that hurt, anger, trauma, etc. so that you can address it, work through it, come to terms with it and ultimately leave it all behind, and unload it.
