I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical, combining compassion with evidence-based strategies to help you make meaningful changes. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, insomnia, substance use concerns, and life stressors. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop effective coping skills, and work toward the life you want to create.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant background, and what you hope to accomplish. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences while giving you plenty of space to share at your own pace. We'll work together to identify your goals and begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your needs. My priority is creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself.
Clients often describe me as approachable, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely heard while also being encouraged to try new perspectives and practical strategies. I draw from evidence-based approaches tailoring treatment to each person's unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. My experience working in diverse clinical settings has allowed me to support individuals facing a wide range of mental health concerns, from everyday stress and life transitions to more complex emotional challenges. I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and hope as they work toward healing and change.
My ideal clients are adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, sleep difficulties, substance use concerns, or life transitions. Many feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves and want practical tools alongside a supportive therapeutic relationship. They are open to self-exploration, learning new coping strategies, and making meaningful changes at their own pace. Whether they're seeking symptom relief, healthier relationships, or greater emotional balance, I provide a collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based approach tailored to their goals.
CBT helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. We work together to identify patterns that may be causing distress and practice healthier ways to cope with challenges, manage emotions, and make positive changes.
CBT-I helps people improve their sleep by looking at thoughts, habits, and behaviors that may be making sleep more difficult. We work on practical strategies to create healthier sleep routines and improve rest.
Mindfulness helps you become more aware of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judging yourself. We use these skills to manage stress, stay present, and respond to difficult emotions in healthier ways.
Motivational Interviewing helps you explore what you want to change and what matters most to you. We focus on your strengths, build confidence, and identify steps toward reaching your goals.
Trauma-informed care focuses on understanding how difficult life experiences can affect your emotions, relationships, and coping. I provide a safe and supportive space where we can focus on healing, building strength, and moving forward at your own pace.
