Hi! I'm Yadiel Munoz. I'm licensed in Florida with six years of professional work experience. I have experience helping clients cope with depression, anxiety, addictions, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. While everyone is unique, I've found that clients typically start making measurable progress after our four sessions together. My goal is to ensure that every client has the tools they need to be their best, and to reach a point where they no longer need me. I strive to create a positive environment where you feel safe to be your true self. I'm here as a trusted partner that you can confide in, but also as someone who will challenge you and help you grow.

"When you make peace with yourself, you make peace with the world" As adults, we are responsible for changing things not because we are to blame for these things, but because we are the only ones who CAN change them. That can feel unfair, and it is. But it can also be empowering- you are the catalyst for personal change, you can always take a turn or step in a different direction, you can always act differently, feel differently, and (with the right tools and assistance) heal. I am here to help you with this noble work. As a mental health professional, I am passionate about helping others feel more whole, hopeful and effective by developing deeper self-knowledge, self-respect, compassion, resilience and coping skills.

I want to help you solve the problems in your life. To do that, we need to determine what those problems are and we need to establish a rapport where trust, positive regard and hope are foundational. I am successful in my life only because of the support I have received, both personal and professional. I consider my work a continuation of the generosity I have been gifted.

This is when we seek guidance, we may be experiencing chronic stress, pain, depression, anxiety, grief, or as of late feeling like this world is not something we recognize any longer. I believe we feel our best when we have balance in all aspects of our lives, When this balance is skewed we feel drained, fatigued and easily overwhelmed. My commitment to my clients is to walk beside you in your journey, finding the balance of mind, body, and spirit. I have experience working with those who experience depression, anxiety, chronic pain, ADHD, trauma, multiple medical issues, chronic pain, and those that are struggling with everyday living, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in Trauma, from bullying to combat PTSD, anxiety and depression. I also work with couples who have experienced infidelity, sexual issues, infertility, or those that are going through divorce or loss of their relationship. I work from a holistic patient-centered approach, we come up with a multidimensional plan, using various therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, EFT-Tapping and guided trauma work in books like " Safely Embodied", " Your a Bad Ass, Boundaries, Co-dependency No More, and Successful Aging. I use many different avenues/techniques to help you on your journey. One of my passions is using multiple collaborations of herbal, medical and nutritional treatments for mental health issues. I stress how important it is to use each session as a springboard to process and practice the new skills we discuss. Finding our essence and one's purpose in this world is the greatest force to finding balance. Making positive changes within our life. Acceptance/Resolving the negative events in our lives, and committing to minimize those effects in our lives today. My practice is online-based in multiple states.

You are here hoping to find that therapist who stands out to you because you want to find someone who can help you. The search can be overwhelming for some. Most of the profiles of therapists are going to say similar things. Most of which should be standard like brakes on a car. I cannot promise I'm the right one for you. Here is what I can tell you about my approach. I believe in being practical which means I will not use a lot of psycho-babble or fancy strategies. I have a tendency to be blunt. My wife says I'm the "bluntest politest man" she has ever met. I'm going to be real with you. I love couples/marriage counseling, and that is my main focus. However, about half of my clients have always been individuals. Some people just need a place to vent. Others need help solving a problem, and most people need a little of both. I know therapy might be a little intimidating or even scary to some. Try to think of it as a massage for your brain. It's a place where you can say whatever you want guilt-free.
