Even though I am trained in several theoretical orientations, my best traits include empathy, curiosity, compassion, and being non-judgmental. I thrive working with young adult and middle aged men because I have experienced many of the same issues that challenge men today pertaining to understanding our self, navigating our significant relationship, our vocations, and our desire to be something greater than our ourselves. I like to focus on issues fundamental to the core human condition such as anxiety, meaning making, purpose, freedom, responsibility, self-actualization, self-worth, guilt and acceptance. Analysis of these conditions/concepts during our sessions brings insight which is the key to change.
