Hello! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters Degree from Eastern University and have been working in the mental health field the last 14 years as a Mobile Therapist, Crisis Counselor, Admissions Counselor and Therapist.
I also have experience working with women who are struggling with domestic abuse and relationship boundaries.
I help adolescents struggling with depression and anxiety develop healthy coping mechanisms and work through life's many challenges. I also have experience working with women who are struggling with domestic abuse and relationship boundaries.
First session
In our first sessions together we will introduce ourselves, talk about any goals you have for therapy as well as the rules of therapy and confidentiality. Your history with therapy and any treatments you may have had are also important to discuss. Following we will dive into specific struggles you are facing. This will allow me to develop a plan for future therapy sessions.
Strengths
Having worked with adolescents and adults the last 14 years, I have contributed toward helping clients identify patterns in their thoughts and behaviors as well as assisting in the development of self empowerment and self worth.
Ideal clients
I love working with adolescents struggling with a variety of issues including life transitions, family concerns, breakups, grief, loss and trauma. I also love working with women struggling with self esteem, depression and codependency issues.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In a therapy session we will explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. We will discuss how these thoughts and behaviors affect your life and work on ways to change negative and dysfunctional behaviors as well as developing healthy thoughts and behaviors.
Compassion-Focused
In our session we will dive deeper into the thoughts and behaviors that affect your daily living. We will explore your emotions while promoting healing and well-being.
