Who do you go to when life hurts? What do you do when problems arise? Where do you go when the stigma of traditional counseling is not an option? I am here to assist you with online and traditional counseling. I counsel individuals, couples, and families. I have been in private practice since September 1999. I believe that each of us has the ability to heal our hurts through forgiveness and the mending of our broken hearts. Some of the issues that I work with are substance abuse, depression, forgiveness, anger, relationship issues, sexual assault, domestic violence, PTSD, and career choices.
The first session will focus on the biopsychosocial intake. The session will cover what brought you to therapy, your goals, how you got to where you are, and what you are experiencing.
I guess I'm considered a generalist, although I'm trained in domestic violence, sexual assault, substance abuse, and career counseling. When we look at those areas in our lives, many issues arise, such as depression, anxiety, relationships, communication, anger, divorce, and others.
I am best positioned to serve adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, anxious, discouraged, or are simply trying to navigate life’s transitions. Whether you are coping with stress, grief, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, family conflict, caregiver responsibilities, or questions about purpose and identity, I provide a supportive space to process, heal, and move forward. I especially enjoy working with women, caregivers, faith-based clients, ministry leaders, and individuals seeking to reconnect with themselves emotionally and spiritually. I work best with clients who are ready to explore new perspectives, develop healthier coping skills, and make meaningful changes in their lives. My approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative. Together, we will identify patterns, strengthen coping skills, and work toward emotional, relational, and spiritual wellness at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

Christian Counseling
I provide Christian counseling for clients who desire to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process. I help individuals explore emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns through a compassionate, biblically informed lens while respecting each client’s pace and level of spiritual engagement. Prayer, scripture, faith-based reflection, and spiritual coping strategies may be incorporated when appropriate and desired by the client. My goal is to help clients experience healing, hope, and restoration while addressing practical life challenges.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that contribute to anxiety, depression, stress, trauma responses, and relationship difficulties. CBT helps clients recognize the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical coping skills, healthier thinking patterns, and effective problem-solving strategies to improve daily functioning and emotional well-being.
Existential
I use existential therapy to help clients explore life’s deeper questions related to purpose, identity, grief, transitions, relationships, meaning, and personal responsibility. Together, we examine patterns, values, and beliefs that may influence emotional distress or feelings of being “stuck.” I support clients in developing greater self-awareness, clarity, and empowerment as they navigate difficult seasons and make meaningful choices aligned with their values.
Integrative
I believe therapy is most effective when it is individualized. I integrate Christian counseling, existential therapy, and CBT to meet clients where they are—helping them process life’s challenges, gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward emotional, relational, and spiritual wellness.
