New to Grow
Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you’re struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, or family challenges. You don’t have to face it alone. I work with children, teens, and adults to help them gain clarity, strengthen coping skills, and build on their natural resilience. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and develop strategies that bring real and lasting change. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to move forward with confidence.
In our sessions, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strengths-based approaches to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect. I’ll guide you in building on your strengths while turning challenges into opportunities for growth. I also Christian Counseling where I we can include prayer, the Bible in our sessions.
Taking the first step toward therapy is a powerful choice. I offer a warm, non-judgmental environment where meaningful progress is possible. Let’s work together to help you or your loved one thrive.
An ideal client is one who is open to discussing why they came to the session, willing to work on issues even through the avenue of homework, and able to celebrate all successes, even some victories. The reasons for counseling did not develop overnight, and the client's willingness to accept that the issues will not disappear overnight either. Anything worth working on takes time. Commitment to therapy work takes time and willingness to face.
For those interested in Christian Counseling, I provide support and attentive listening in sessions with the client. I include prayer, Bible reading, and devotionals along with other clinical treatment methods to provide support to the client
For CBT, I provide support, good listening skills in session with the client. I utilize homework, in session practice of relaxation, challenge thinking in order to help the client learn how to develop healthy coping skills
For DBT, I provide support, good listening skills in session with the client. I utilize homework, in session practice of relaxation, and other supports to help learning and implementing healthy coping skills.
