Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. I received my master's degree in Buffalo, New York and have been practicing for several years now. I previously worked in Older Adult Protective Services and also worked as a Dialysis Social Worker during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Most of my work involves supporting adults who are challenged by complex medical conditions.
In our first session together, we will start with introductions and I will provide information about the HIPPA and the privacy policy that will apply to our work together. We can then move on to discussing what are interested in addressing in our sessions. Depending on your interests and comfort level, we may also complete some standardized assessments to gain insight on any mental health symptoms that you may be experiencing.
I have more than a decade of work experience with individuals who are challenged by complex medical conditions. My work experiences have seasoned me with a nuanced understanding of complex medical issues and the impact that these issues can have on mental health.
Navigating the healthcare system in our country can be confusing and stressful. I deeply enjoy supporting adults who are interested in improving their health and well-being.
