I am a Licensed Psychologist based in Pennsylvania. I received my Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) from the California School of Professional Psychology and I have been in the field of psychology for over 20 years. When you’re looking for a therapist, one of the most important things is finding someone with whom you can develop a safe, healthy, and trusting relationship. I believe that it is in the context of this kind of relationship, that healing, growth, and learning occur. In all my work, I have been guided by my belief in the importance of psychodynamic and relational principles: the impact our earliest experiences and relationships have on our present life. My work is also always informed by efforts to understand the larger systemic issues that affect the lives of those who come to me for help and support.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked in the field for over 20 years, I have the experience for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
I love working with clients who are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, depressed, and anxious.
