I work with individuals navigating trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, impulsive behaviors, anger, anxiety, and depression. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, and are looking for clarity or a deeper understanding of themselves. I welcome adults of all identities and backgrounds, as well as couples who want to strengthen their connection, communicate more openly, and move through conflict with greater care. My style is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I’m here to help you transform difficult or adverse experiences into opportunities for insight, resilience, and growth. Together, we explore patterns in your emotions, relationships, and experiences, and begin to understand what’s underneath them. From there, we can create meaningful, lasting change in a way that feels authentic to you. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. I focus on creating a space where you can show up as you are, without pressure, and move at a pace that feels right for you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is really about getting a feel for each other. We’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, what brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping might change. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say—this is a space where we can begin wherever you are. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, relationships, and any patterns you’ve been noticing. This helps me get a clearer picture of your experience, and it also gives us a starting point for our work together. Most importantly, this session is for you to see how it feels to sit with me—whether you feel comfortable, understood, and supported.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I focus on creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and grounded, where you can explore your experiences openly and without judgment. Building a sense of trust and emotional security is central to my work, so you can feel comfortable being honest and fully yourself in the process. As we work together, I gently challenge perspectives or patterns that may have developed as ways of coping in the past but no longer serve you. With care and intention, we begin to explore new ways of understanding yourself, relating to others, and responding to difficult situations. I also pay close attention to the strengths you already carry. Even in challenging moments, there are parts of you that have adapted and persisted. Therapy becomes a space to both recognize and build on those strengths, while also developing new ones that support meaningful growth, resilience, and lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals who are interested in exploring their inner experiences and gaining a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or noticing recurring challenges in relationships, work, or their sense of self, and are looking to better understand the underlying causes. I support clients navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and questions related to identity or self-esteem. This approach can also be helpful for those who are aware that past experiences may still be influencing their present and are open to exploring those connections. My work tends to resonate with individuals who are curious, reflective, or open to becoming more self-aware over time. Therapy often involves looking beneath the surface, making connections between past and present experiences, and building insight that supports meaningful, lasting change. Clients who are seeking deeper, insight-oriented work and personal growth may find this approach aligns with their needs.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

In my practice, I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients gain deeper insight into how past experiences, unconscious patterns, and early relationships shape their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I have experience working with individuals who may feel “stuck” in recurring patterns—whether in relationships, self-esteem, or emotional responses—and want to understand the root causes behind them. I approach this work with curiosity, compassion, and collaboration. Together, we explore themes that emerge in your life, including relationship dynamics, internal conflicts, and emotional patterns. I pay close attention to how your past experiences may be influencing your present, while also helping you build awareness of patterns that may no longer serve you. In sessions, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can openly reflect and make meaningful connections between your past and present. I also incorporate the therapeutic relationship as a tool for insight, helping you recognize patterns as they arise in real time. My goal is to support you in developing greater self-understanding, emotional clarity, and the ability to make more intentional choices in your life and relationships.
