(she/her)
I utilize an Integrative/Eclectic approach to therapy that includes: a mindfulness-based and strength-based approach that is compassion-focused, trauma-informed, and affirming of each client's unique identities and lived experiences through a Feminist therapy/Social Justice lens. I also often utilize Internal Family Systems parts-work, Narrative-therapy, and DBT. Some of my goals include helping my clients expand their insight and compassion for themselves, build tools that can benefit their continued healing and growth, feel empowered to make the changes they may be seeking in their life, attend to their relationships with themselves and loved ones/community, and more! My specialty areas include ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, LGBTQIA+, Complex Trauma, Depression, Grief/Loss, and Life Transitions.
During our first session, I look forward to getting to know more about you, your story/stories, your various identities/cultural background/your family's story, your community and the important people in your life, what brings you to tele-therapy at this time, what are you hoping to attend to during, and of course be sure to address YOUR questions and concerns as you interview me as your potential new therapist!
My experience includes working with undergraduate and graduate students for the past 5+ years, in both outpatient settings serving students as well as working in mental health counseling centers on college campuses. My professional experience also includes addiction treatment and working with families.
