I became a Social Worker with the goal of helping people. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of settings- nonprofits, hospitals, hospice, and insurance. Having worked in these settings has helped me to hone in on my ultimate goal which is to help people find their inherent strength. My role is to help you gain tools and hopefully a new way to approach current stressors.
Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll discuss your background and what brings you to therapy. We will review your symptoms, goals for treatment, and address any questions you may have regarding services. Therapy is a process, and we’ll continue to build our work together over time. We’ll take it one step at a time, and I’m here to guide you through each step of the process
I believe that therapy is a partnership. Together, we’ll identify and set goals that matter to you, whether they focus on improving relationships, reducing anxiety, or another personal objective. As we work together, your goals may evolve as you gain new insights. We can adapt our plan at any time to ensure it’s always meaningful and relevant to you. I’m here to provide you with the support and tools you need to continue to move closer to where you want to be, even when things feel challenging
I work with adults and older adults who are managing anxiety, life transitions, and depression. Whether you’re working through trauma, building coping skills, or exploring your personal goals, I’ll work with you to create a plan for growth that feels empowering and achievable.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I used CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) to help you understand the details of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My goal is to help you come up with ways to challenge and change what you are thinking and doing.
