I specialize in guiding others, especially women, to a place of confidence and self-assurance, so they are able to build and maintain healthy boundaries to ensure more fulfilling relationships. You can expect to find an authentic, honest person who will model assertive communication skills and boundary-setting techniques. I believe in walking the walk if I talk the talk, so I won't suggest anything I wouldn't be willing to do myself.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, distress tolerance skills, assertive communication, boundary-setting skills, acceptance and commitment therapy, and rational emotive behavioral therapy as well as others to support clients. I have pursued additional training in grief and loss, trauma-informed care, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR, certification in progress).
