(she/her)
Thanks for visiting, my name is Ashley. Do you often feel conflicted or dissatisfied with your position in life? I enjoy helping others to discover their core values and beliefs so they are better able to build a life they feel at peace with. I specialize in guiding others, especially women, to a place of confidence and self-assurance, so they are able to build and maintain healthy boundaries to ensure more fulfilling relationships. I help individuals communicate more effectively and assertively as they navigate the impact of daily stresses and more complex messes in their various roles and relationships. *Please schedule on the hour (10am, 11am, etc.)* **Evening appointments are currently full**
Expect lots of questions and the opportunity to ask me questions as well! First sessions can sometimes be awkward and overwhelming because not only are we brand new to one another, I'm asking many questions that can be uncomfortable and feel invasive. I make every effort to ask questions in the most compassionate way possible while understanding it can be difficult to be so vulnerable with a person with whom you haven't developed a trusting relationship. We'll discuss your goals and how our work together can best fit into your plan to achieve them.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, distress tolerance skills, assertive communication, boundary-setting skills, acceptance and commitment therapy, and rational emotive behavioral therapy as well as others to support clients. I have pursued additional training in grief and loss, trauma-informed care, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR, certification in progress).
Authenticity is my super power. Encouraging others to discover who they truly are and what they hold dear in order to build lives they love is a beautiful experience.
