Hi there! I'm Geraldine Best, and for over 16 years I'm a dual board-certified family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, helping people like you find healing, overcome challenges, and strengthen their relationships. I conduct psychiatric evaluations, pharmacological management, ADHD and DNA testing. I work with pediatric children ages 5+, teens, young adults, and older adults. I know that each client that comes to me has a unique story and their own individual struggles. I am always honored to join with that person in the important work of helping them see their own strength and re-discover their joy in living.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and then explore the current challenges you're facing. Together, we will develop a plan of care to help you progress and see significant improvements in your life.
I believe that the greatest strength that I bring to the session room is that I see clients as inherently good, healthy human beings with an innate desire to excel and become the best possible version of themselves. My mission is to help them challenge and change negative beliefs and behavior patterns, and to create positive changes that are in-line with whom they would like to become.
I have worked with many clients over the years, and have extensive experience with a focus on the treatment of ADHD, Mood disorders, Anxiety disorders, Obsessive Compulsive disorder, Substance and Alcohol Use disorders, Autism Spectrum disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, Psychotic disorders, Personality disorders, Bipolar disorder, Sleeping disorders, Social Anxiety, phobias, and other psychiatric diagnoses.

I've been with Geraldine for over 4 years, and she's helped me significantly over that time. From a troubled teen to a functional adult, Geraldine has watched me grow and helped me become a better person. I've been able to overcome most of my challenges, struggling with mental health and ADHD, and she provides a welcoming space and warm approach to help me feel like I'm not alone and able to overcome my battles.
