New to Grow
As a High School Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor with over 5 years of experience in the mental health space, I really enjoy working with teens and adults as they figure out who they are and where they're headed. During our time together, not only will I serve as your therapist, but also as your #1 fan to becoming the best version of yourself. Outside of the mental health space, I enjoy trying different workout classes - lately I've been into Pilates - which helps me stay grounded and reminds me how important it is to take care of both mental and physical well-being.
In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know you - your experiences, strengths, hobbies, careers, and what brings you to therapy. My priority for the first session is to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable expressing your true thoughts and emotions. After our first session, you will leave feeling heard, calm, supported, and empowered.
My greatest strength is leading with empathy. I'm able to sit with my clients through heavy emotions and help them process at their own pace, without pressure or expectation. Clients have reported that they feel comfortable opening up because they know they'll be met with compassion, empathy, and honesty.
I believe that every person has the potential to grow, become the best version of themselves, and discover strengths they didn't even know they had. Life can be challenging, and sometimes it's difficult to see the possibilities it holds when you are weighed down by stress, self-doubts, or unhealthy habits. As your therapist, it is my ultimate goal to support you in becoming a better version of yourself. In our work together, you'll be welcomed with a warm space where you can feel seen, heard, and valued for who you are, without judgement. I don't believe in the "one-size-fits-all" solution; I believe in meeting you exactly where you are. I believe that healing begins in an environment of trust, acceptance, and I aim to walk alongside you as you navigate life's challenges at a pace comfortable for you. You deserve a space to slow down, to grow, and to rediscover yourself. Wherever you are in your journey, there is always room for healing, hope, and new beginnings. Together, we can create the space for you to become the person you've always wanted to be.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical coping strategies. Together, we examine the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and work toward building healthier, more adaptive responses to life's challenges.
Grief Therapy
I support clients unconditionally in processing loss at their own pace by creating a safe, compassionate space to explore the complex emotions that follows grief. My approach honors each individual's unique grief experience while helping them find meaning, build resilience, and adjust to life after loss.
Strength-Based
I focus on identifying and building upon each client's existing strengths, skills, and resilience. By highlight what is already working, I help clients develop confidence, foster self-efficacy, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
At all times, my approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I work collaboratively with clients, trusting their capacity for growth and self-understanding. My #1 priority is provide a supportive environment where all of my clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
