I’m a licensed clinical social worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship stress, betrayal trauma, codependency, perfectionism, and major life transitions. My style is warm, practical, and collaborative. I believe therapy should offer both a safe place to be understood and real tools clients can use in everyday life. I often work with thoughtful, capable people who have spent years holding everything together for others while feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. I help clients slow down, make sense of their patterns, reduce shame, build healthier boundaries, and reconnect with their own strength and clarity. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and direct when needed, with a focus on helping clients feel more grounded, confident, and empowered in their lives and relationships.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for you to settle in, tell me what has been going on, and begin getting a sense of whether I feel like the right therapist for you. I will ask about your current concerns, your history, what has helped or not helped before, and what you would like to be different in your life. You are not expected to have everything figured out or to share your whole story immediately. We will go at a pace that feels safe and manageable. My goal in the first session is to understand your needs, answer your questions, and begin creating a plan for therapy that feels practical, respectful, and supportive.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring warmth, honesty, practical tools, and a steady presence to therapy. I listen with compassion, but I am not a therapist who only sits quietly and holds space. I believe clients deserve to feel safe and understood, while also being gently challenged when old patterns, fear, shame, avoidance, or people-pleasing are keeping them stuck. My approach stands out because I combine trauma-informed care with real-life practicality. I help clients understand their patterns, regulate emotions, set healthier boundaries, communicate more clearly, and make choices that align with who they want to become. My own life experiences have deepened my respect for resilience, grief, family complexity, faith, rebuilding, and the courage it takes to change. I bring both compassion and directness to the work, always with the goal of helping clients feel more grounded, confident, and empowered.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is tired of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or responsible for everyone else’s emotions. They may be carrying anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship pain, betrayal, perfectionism, or years of putting their own needs last. Often, they are capable and compassionate people who have spent a long time surviving, over-functioning, or trying to keep peace while losing connection with themselves. I work well with clients who are ready to slow down, understand their patterns, build healthier boundaries, and learn new ways to cope, communicate, and care for themselves. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and compassionate, with the goal of helping clients feel more grounded, confident, and free to make choices that support their wellbeing.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I use trauma-informed care by recognizing that past experiences can shape a client’s nervous system, relationships, beliefs, coping strategies, and sense of safety. In therapy, I prioritize collaboration, choice, emotional safety, and trust. I help clients identify patterns that may have developed as survival responses, build regulation and grounding skills, and develop more compassionate and effective ways of responding to stress, triggers, and relationship challenges.
