New to Grow
I strive to create a warm, empathetic, and engaging environment where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. I listen with the intention of understanding your unique experiences and perspectives, while providing a supportive, judgment-free space for growth and self-exploration. I believe that therapy can be both meaningful and approachable, and when appropriate, I incorporate humor and laughter to help foster connection and resilience. While I offer compassion and support, I also encourage clients to challenge themselves and move toward their goals. I am not afraid to ask difficult questions when they can lead to deeper insight and meaningful change. My approach focuses on helping you recognize your strengths, build confidence in your abilities, and develop the tools needed to navigate life's challenges. Together, we will work collaboratively to identify obstacles, celebrate progress, and create lasting, positive change.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences at your own pace. Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy, we will explore the concerns that brought you to therapy and discuss what you hope to gain from the process. During our time together, I may ask questions to help understand your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and life experiences. Through a CBT lens, we will begin identifying patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress or challenges in daily life. Using Motivational Interviewing, I will help you explore your strengths, values, and readiness for change, while supporting you in identifying goals that feel meaningful and achievable. Narrative Therapy allows us to examine the stories you tell about yourself and your experiences, helping you separate yourself from problems and recognize your resilience and personal strengths. By the end of the first session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of the therapeutic process, an opportunity to share your goals, and a collaborative plan for moving forward. Therapy is a partnership, and we will work together to create an approach that best supports your unique needs and aspirations.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. I listen with genuine curiosity and compassion, seeking to understand each person's unique experiences and perspective. My authentic and engaging approach helps build strong therapeutic relationships, while my use of humor, when appropriate, can bring lightness and connection to difficult conversations. I believe in balancing support with accountability, encouraging clients to recognize their strengths, challenge unhelpful patterns, and take meaningful steps toward their goals. I am comfortable asking difficult questions when they promote growth and insight, while also providing encouragement and motivation throughout the process. My strengths-based and collaborative approach empowers clients to build confidence, develop resilience, and create lasting positive change in their lives.
My ideal clients are adolescents, couples, and families who are navigating life’s challenges and seeking a safe, supportive space where they can feel seen, heard, and understood. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and low self-worth, as well as those facing relationship difficulties, communication challenges, and emotional struggles. Together, we work toward building resilience, strengthening connections, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and grief. Many of my clients come in feeling stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand—overthinking, self-doubt, emotional ups and downs, or disconnection in their relationships. Therapy is a space where we slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and begin to shift those patterns in a way that actually lasts. Our work won’t just be about talking—it will be about helping you better understand yourself, respond differently to what you’re feeling, and build a stronger, more stable sense of who you are. With teens, I focus on creating a space where they feel comfortable opening up about anxiety, pressure, identity, and self-esteem. With adults, we often work through anxiety, depression, and the internal narratives that keep you feeling stuck or not enough. For couples and families, I help create more honest, productive communication so that each person feels heard and understood—especially during times of conflict, disconnection, or shared loss. My style is warm, supportive, and engaged. I will meet you with empathy, but I will also gently challenge you when needed so that real change can happen.
