I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in California. I have over a decade of experience working with diverse populations in various settings ranging from outpatient mental health care, crisis stabilization, and residential treatment. I help clients through difficult times and life transitions and empower them to live fulfilling lives with tools necessary to overcome future challenges. I have worked with clients from all walks of life and am eager to support you through whatever challenges arise.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will focus on getting to know you and the reason you are seeking therapy. I will ask some standard questions as well as gather some history about where you have been on your mental health journey. By the end of the session, we will collaborate and identify the focus of treatment. I believe therapy is an ongoing collaborative process that should be challenging and supportive with the ultimate goal of improving quality life and moving toward your best self.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel my greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to relate, join, and lead in session to work toward the identified goal. I am warm, kind, and comfortable with challenging when needed. I provide a non-judgmental space for us to explore how to best serve you in this moment and get you where you want to be.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I use a combination of various treatment modalities and skills as appropriate for the individual. I am person centered and meet a client wherever they are on their journey and provide the interventions and skills that will support growth and movement forward. Typically I draw on ACT, DBT, and CBT/TF-CBT.
