Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (PA, DE, NJ) living in Philadelphia. I've been a social worker for 9 years now. I'm here to help you work through the challenges in your life by exploring deep feelings, past experiences, and ongoing stressors in a safe and supportive way. I am here for you and cannot wait to get started!

First session

In our first session you can expect a general introduction. We will go over my role, your needs and expectations, and what you hope to get out of therapy. This is YOUR time and I want to make the most of it.

Strengths

People can expect me to be a strong listener with a familiar and comforting presence. I approach people as though we've known each other for some time. Talking to me can feel like talking to a friend- one who will give you the time and understanding you need.

Ideal clients

I love working with people who are ready to make changes in their life. Perhaps you don't have the tools needed to make big decisions. Perhaps you need a little push to make minor changes. I love a client who is ready to take me on your journey, from your perspective, with an open mind, a lot to say, and an excitement to share.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have found CBT to be most effective for those living with depression and/or anxiety. Sometimes what it really takes to start seeing a change in your life is talking things through and coming up with easy to follow skill development that can be applied to every day situations. We all need someone to talk to sometimes. I can help you challenge your beliefs, listen to you with compassion, and help you understand how factors in your life and in your feelings all relate to one another.
