Hi, I’m Dallas, I’m the founder and CEO of The Stable Mind PLLC — a practice rooted in compassion, creativity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. My love of horses and the calming, grounded presence they bring to healing inspired the name The Stable Mind, and it reflects the kind of care I strive to offer: steady, supportive, and tailored to you. I specialize in working with individuals navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD (extensive history in treating veterans), infertility, and postpartum transitions. I approach therapy with a trauma-informed lens and love using a blend of evidence-based methods — like CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and compassion-focused work — to really get to know you, not just your symptoms. I believe healing doesn’t have to look one way, and sometimes, it starts with finding the right space to feel safe, seen, and understood — whether that’s in talk therapy or while connecting over a shared love of animals.

What makes me different? Well, I’m not the kind of provider who talks at you or rattles off a checklist and sends you on your way. I talk with you — like a real person — because I genuinely care, and let’s be honest, life is messy and complicated and sometimes hilarious in a dark, twisted way. I’ve walked through my own hard stuff (no trauma dump here, don’t worry), so I don’t just get it clinically — I feel it. I’ve been there. And that means I show up with empathy, honesty, and zero judgment. I believe healing is about building something real and sustainable — not just a quick fix or a trendy to-do list. I’m here to help you create lifelong habits and goals that actually fit your life. Whether we’re laughing, crying, getting serious, or just sitting quietly because words aren’t working — I hold space for all of it. This is a partnership, not a prescription pad. I want you to feel seen, heard, and empowered every step of the way. I can’t wait to help you be the best, YOU!
My ideal client? Honestly — it’s someone who’s been through some things (maybe a lot of things) and is still showing up, even if it’s messy, slow, or doesn’t always make sense at first. Whether you’re navigating autism, ADHD, PTSD, infertility, or the heartbreak of miscarriage, I’m here for the people who are ready to do the work — even when the work feels weird, silly, or like “how is this even helping?” Because spoiler: it is helping, and it adds up. I especially connect with veterans and folks who’ve experienced trauma — those carrying invisible wounds that deserve space, care, and support. If you’re looking for a therapist and med provider who’s going to walk beside you, challenge you kindly, laugh with you when it’s needed, and help you build something real and lasting, you’re in the right place.
Trauma Informed Care
I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens, prioritizing safety, empowerment, and trust. I work collaboratively with clients to recognize the impact of trauma on the mind and body, tailoring treatment to support healing without re-traumatization.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and develop skills for long-term emotional resilience.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Through mindfulness-based interventions, I guide clients in increasing present-moment awareness, learning to observe their thoughts and emotions without judgment. I incorporate mindfulness practices such as grounding, breathwork, and body awareness to help clients manage anxiety, improve focus, and regulate mood.
Compassion Focused
I practice compassion-based care by fostering a nonjudgmental, empathetic therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and supported in their healing process.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I integrate dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills such as emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness to support clients in managing intense emotions and improving interpersonal relationships

I've never felt so seen and heard from a mental health provider before. Dallas asked questions I've never had anyone ask me, truly getting to the root of my struggles. This quickly demonstrated her care and intelligence to want to understand the full scope. Feeling lit up after a conversation with a provider is rare but very excited to continue to work with Dallas!
