Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Straight-shooter. Occasional over-user of sarcasm. Lover of snacks and helping people get their lives a little more together. Let’s be real: life can be a lot. Sometimes it feels like everything’s on fire and you’re just standing there with a tiny cup of water. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just need someone to talk to who won’t judge you , you’re in the right place. You’ve already done something brave by getting this far — now let’s see what we can do together to make things better. What’s therapy with me like? I’m here to help you figure out what’s going on, what you want to change, and how to actually make that happen. We’ll talk, we’ll plan, we’ll probably laugh (and maybe cry and that’s okay too). I’ll ask questions, offer tools, and keep it real with you every step of the way. A little about me: I’ve been doing therapy for over 10 years. I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology (graduated with honors) and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. I’ve worked with kids, teens, adults, and families. Basically, if you’re a human with feelings, I’ve probably helped someone like you. My style is collaborative, honest, and human. I’m not going to sit there nodding silently while you spill your guts. I’m in it with you asking questions, offering insights, and helping you figure out what’s next. If you’re ready to do the work (and maybe laugh a little along the way), I’m here for it. Let’s get started.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

What can you expect from sessions? In the beginning, we’ll just get to know each other. You’ll tell me what’s going on, what you want to work on, and I’ll help you make a plan. Whether it’s learning how to communicate better, manage anxiety, set boundaries, or just survive your next family gathering, we’ll tackle it together.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

What do I actually do in therapy? I use a mix of approaches depending on what works best for you. Some of my go-tos include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Solution-Focused Therapy Narrative Therapy – helping you rewrite the story you’ve been telling yourself. Trauma-Focused Therapy Motivational Interviewing We’ll also use practical tools like coping skills, grounding exercises, and goal setting — all tailored to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, family conflict, and major life transitions. I’m particularly skilled in supporting clients through crisis situations and am passionate about helping people develop practical, effective coping strategies. I bring a blend of humor, creativity, and genuine compassion to my work. Rather than positioning myself as the expert on your life, I see myself as a collaborative partner who is here to walk alongside you as we work toward your goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I'm best positioned to help people who are ready to get real — even if they’re not totally sure what “getting real” looks like yet. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in old patterns, or just plain exhausted from trying to hold it all together, we’ll probably get along just fine. I work well with folks who: Are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or big life transitions Want to improve their relationships (with others or themselves) Are tired of people-pleasing, perfectionism, or second-guessing everything Need help setting boundaries or figuring out what they actually want Are open to doing the work, even if it’s messy, uncomfortable, or involves a few awkward laughs along the way You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to be willing to show up and be honest ...even if that honesty sounds like, “I have no idea what I’m doing.” That’s a perfectly fine place to start. My style is supportive but direct. I’ll challenge you when you need it, cheer you on when you forget how far you’ve come, and help you build tools that actually work in real life, not just in a therapy office.
