Hi, I'm Cherri! Are you tired of living with chronic stress and anxiety, or feeling like you just can't seem to get it together? Or, maybe you're struggling with depression and aren't quite sure how to pull yourself out of it? I have over 10 years experience in helping adults and older adolescents identify stressors, figure out what isn't working for you, and restore balance in your life. We will work together to incorporate mindfulness, relaxation strategies, and other healthy coping skills, as well as positive lifestyle changes, to support your ultimate goals. Whether you're stuck in negative thought patterns and beliefs, unhealthy relationships, or cycles of adverse feelings, I would love to help. Every person's path is different, and I would be honored to join you for a brief time along your journey to help make it all that you want it to be.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I believe my job as a therapist is to provide support to my clients as they strive to reach their goals and improve their lives. In our first session together, I will learn more about you and what brings you to therapy, as well as your goals for your life. We will work together to come up with a treatment plan you feel comfortable with. My goal is to treat each client's story with the respect it deserves, while providing a warm, non-judgmental space for clients to work through any concerns they may have

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My approach is primarily centered around the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; however, I often include interventions and techniques from other approaches in order to provide individualized treatment targeted at each client's specific needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is being able to meet my clients where they are. It doesn't matter if you come to the table with years of therapy under your belt, or if this is your first time - my goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment for you to explore any challenges you are facing, while empowering you to make positive changes in your life.
