Trained in various therapeutic modalities including EMDR, ACT, CPT, and CBT, I offer tailored support to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or life transitions, my goal is to empower you with tools and insights to enhance your well-being and lead a fulfilling life. I am here to serve and support anyone, regardless of age or background.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where we focus on building rapport through meaningful conversation. We will explore your interests, needs, and what brings you to therapy, so that together we can begin developing a personalized plan for your care moving forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strengths as a provider are my dedication and commitment to helping clients build on the strengths and skills they already possess. By incorporating my extensive training in various therapeutic modalities and settings including crisis, I tailor treatment to meet each client's unique needs, fostering growth and resilience throughout their journey.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop psychological flexibility by learning to accept difficult emotions and thoughts while committing to actions aligned with their values. Through mindfulness and behavior change strategies, I support clients in reducing avoidance and building a life that reflects what truly matters to them.

Eclectic

I use an eclectic approach to tailor therapy by drawing from various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other evidence-based techniques. This flexibility allows me to adapt treatment to the unique needs and goals of each client for more effective outcomes.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, leading to more adaptive behaviors and emotional regulation. Through structured interventions, I work with clients to develop practical skills for managing stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.

EMDR

In my practice, I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process and resolve traumatic memories by integrating cognitive, emotional, and somatic experiences. This approach facilitates healing by reducing the distress associated with these memories and enhancing adaptive thinking.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help clients process traumatic events by identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns that maintain distress. Through structured sessions, clients learn to reframe their beliefs about trauma and regain control over their emotional responses.
