Hi! I am a culturally sensitive therapist that blends different modalities to support clients towards their specific goals. I use interventions from CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic, compassionate therapy, humanistic, etc. to guide folks create greater awareness and insight into themselves. Curiosity naturally drives me to wonder and what to understand why someone is the way they are, think or feel the way that they do. If this is something you're interested in, it will be a great pleasure to guide you to develop understandings of yourself. However, if you are looking to build adaptive coping skills, I can also support you to build and maintain a set of tools that you can use to manage life stressors and challenges.
Our first session will be dedicated to understand your presenting concern or reason for therapy, while also getting to know each other and see if we are a good fit for your therapeutic goals.
I listen with intention and have a warm and honest regard for your wellbeing and reason for support. I also do my best to keep track of progress and improvements, or any stagnancy in our goals.
Transitional age youth, young adulthood people who need help navigating life stressors such as professional employment, interpersonal/family stressors, self esteem, etc. I also work well with the culturally sensitive population with multicultural and ethnic backgrounds. I have a deep passion to support clients who want to rebuild their self-esteem and develop greater self awareness and insight into their thoughts, feelings and actions.
