Could yesterday’s trauma unknowingly, and unconsciously keep you in a state of maladaptive feelings such as low self-esteem, anger, guilt, shame, jealousy, or perfectionism? Do you often wonder where these emotions/feelings come from, and why you often find yourself in repeated negative situations which may also manifest in anxiety and depression? Are you fed up with negative emotional outcomes despite good intent? Let’s connect. My aim is to empower you to get better acquainted with SELF, and to reimagine and redirect your life without the effects of past trauma being your compass. I specialize in assisting those who suffer with trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, gambling disorder, self-esteem, personality disorders, and divorce related issues. I endorse the psychosocial development theory, and the psychoanalytic theory, which often lends to how individuals are often shaped by childhood experiences and trauma. I offer a safe space for you to talk about hard topics, and a space specifically for you to be you. My idea client is one who realizes that change starts with him/ her.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. Additionally, I often will recommend various assessments following a client's report of specific symptoms or challenges.

I've developed tried-and-true ways to increase your understanding of what motivates your problematic feelings, emotions and behaviors. We will work together to challenge distorted thinking that can breed maladaptive thoughts and feelings. Additionally, we will work to increase skills to live adaptively with such thoughts and feelings.
