Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our initial session, I will start by introducing myself to establish rapport and build a strong therapeutic alliance. I will convey care through active listening and provide non-judgmental support to foster trust, allowing the client to comfortably discuss their primary concerns. We will then review clinical expectations, , conduct a psychosocial assessment, and develop a tailored treatment plan. Finally, I will be available to address any questions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With over three decades of clinical experience, my therapeutic approach emphasizes cultivating trust, active listening, open-mindedness, facilitating accountability, and promoting positive change. I tailor my interventions to each individual's unique needs while maintaining self-awareness. Offering flexible hours, I am dedicated to supporting clients in reducing stress. My experience encompasses working with adolescents, adults, and couples.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in providing clinical therapy to adults. My practice focuses on supporting women from diverse cultural backgrounds who are experiencing trauma, low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety, as well as the unique challenges faced by single mothers and parents who employ ineffective parenting techniques. Specifically, I work with women who present with distorted thinking patterns, difficulty setting boundaries, and/or impaired coping skills.
