Hi, I’m Moji, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who helps teens and adults find balance, clarity, and relief from anxiety, depression, and life’s everyday stressors. I know how hard it can be to reach out for help when you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free, where you can take a breath and start untangling what’s been weighing on you. My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I combine evidence-based psychotherapy including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness with thoughtful, individualized medication management when needed. As a yoga instructor, I also value the connection between body and mind. I often incorporate grounding, breathwork, and gentle awareness techniques that help clients reconnect with their bodies and find calm from within. Together, we’ll explore not only symptom relief, but also what brings meaning, strength, and resilience into your life. Clients often share that they feel heard, grounded, and empowered after our sessions. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or a major life transition, I’ll meet you exactly where you are and help you take steady steps toward healing and growth. Above all, I believe in your ability to change, heal, and thrive...and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to connect in a relaxed, supportive environment where you can feel at ease being yourself. I’ll invite you to share what’s led you here, along with any relevant past experiences and what you’re hoping to gain from treatment. You can share as much or as little as feels right, and you’re encouraged to ask questions at any point. My aim is to understand your perspective and begin shaping a treatment plan together, one that feels collaborative, supportive, and aligned with your individual needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and respected. My work blends strong clinical expertise with genuine empathy so clients feel both understood and thoughtfully guided as they navigate emotional and mental health challenges. I use evidence-based approaches while providing culturally responsive, individualized care that honors each person’s unique identity and experiences. I’m especially attentive to the needs of neurodivergent individuals, caregivers, and those who may feel overlooked in traditional mental health settings. Clients often share that they appreciate my authenticity, clear communication, and ability to help them feel grounded, validated, and empowered as they build insight, resilience, and overall well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals navigating burnout, life transitions, and mood changes who are seeking both clarity and practical support. Many of my clients are high-functioning but feel stretched thin, mentally fatigued, or not quite like themselves. They’re often ready for change and want a thoughtful, collaborative approach to care. My practice focuses on medication management, complemented by brief, supportive, and skills-based therapy. I help clients better understand what they’re experiencing, whether it’s related to stress, hormonal changes, or other underlying factors, and guide them toward personalized treatment that feels sustainable and effective. I’m best suited for clients who value a balanced approach, those who are open to medication when appropriate, but also want to build coping strategies, improve daily routines, and strengthen boundaries. Together, we focus on restoring energy, improving focus and sleep, and helping clients feel more grounded and in control of their lives. My style is warm, attentive, and practical. I aim to create a space where clients feel heard and supported, while also offering clear guidance and tools they can apply in their day-to-day life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck and learn practical ways to shift them. My goal is to help you feel calmer, more confident, and in control as you navigate daily life.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to support clients in making space for difficult thoughts and feelings, rather than feeling stuck or overwhelmed by them. Together, we gently explore what truly matters to you and find practical ways to stay present and grounded along the way. My hope is that through this process, you’ll begin to feel more at ease in your mind and more connected to the life you want to create.

Attachment-based

I often draw from attachment-based therapy to gently explore how your early relationships may have shaped the way you connect with others today. Together, we look at patterns around closeness, trust, and safety and notice how they show up in your everyday life. My hope is that this work helps you build more secure and meaningful connections, not only with others but also with yourself, and begin to truly feel that it’s safe to be seen, understood, and supported.

Motivational Interviewing

I often use Motivational Interviewing to help you explore your own reasons for change and reconnect with the confidence that’s already within you. Together, we take an honest and compassionate look at what’s working, what feels stuck, and what seems possible right now. I’m here to walk alongside you in the process, not to push or pressure you, but to support you in rediscovering your strengths and taking steps that feel authentic and right for you.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I often incorporate mindfulness into my work with clients to help them slow down, notice what’s happening in the present moment, and respond with more compassion toward themselves. Together, we practice building awareness of thoughts and emotions without judgment, creating space for calm, clarity, and balance. Over time, this helps you feel more centered and capable of handling life’s challenges with greater ease.

Moji was very kind and opening to listening to everything I had to say, even when I may have started to ramble on a bit. She seems very kind and I look forward to meeting with her again.
