Hi there, I'm Jordan. Counseling provides a supportive, non-judgmental, safe atmosphere in which to process your concerns and help you learn ways to feel and do better. I'm so glad you are taking this step to invest in yourself and your well-being! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania and have been working in the counseling field since 2015, initially with children and families in a community-based setting, and presently with adults in individual therapy. I have experience supporting individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, stress management, relationship conflict, educational/occupational needs, and more. Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy reading, crafting, hiking, spending time with family, my cat, and traveling to new places. I look forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our initial meeting, we will focus on getting to know one another, and to help me learn more about you and develop an understanding of what is bringing you to therapy. During subsequent sessions, we will partner to help you process and work through areas of difficulty, learn new coping strategies, and develop problem-solving skills. Throughout treatment, we will check in and evaluate progress to make sure that we're focusing on what is important to you, and moving in the right direction.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral therapies, Motivational Interviewing, Client-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Informed Therapy, Trauma Informed interventions, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness interventions. I recognize that each client is an individual and as such, we will work collaboratively to develop a plan tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My primary modality of therapy is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), which is a research-proven treatment effective for problems such as depression, anxiety, and many other concerns. Working together, we will help you to identify and change ways of thinking and patterns of behavior that are contributing to challenging emotions and experiences so you can feel and do better. When appropriate, we can incorporate mindfulness/meditation in therapy, help you establish a practice that can support you in reaching your goals, and improve your overall wellness.
