Hi, I’m Nancy Rodriguez, a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I was born and raised in Southeast Los Angeles, and I bring both my personal and professional experience into the way I show up with clients. I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or emotionally stuck and are looking for a space to slow things down and understand what they’re going through. I know starting therapy can feel uncertain, and my goal is to make it feel more comfortable and human from the beginning.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll start by getting to know each other and talking about what brought you in. You don’t need to prepare anything ahead of time—we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your current concerns and what you’re hoping for from therapy. This helps us begin shaping a direction for our work together. Most importantly, the first session is about making sure you feel comfortable and supported.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is creating a calm space where clients feel comfortable slowing down and being honest about what they’re experiencing. I’m able to adjust my approach based on each person’s needs, and I stay present with clients through both lighter conversations and more difficult emotional experiences. Clients often say they feel understood and less alone in what they’re going through, even when things feel confusing or overwhelming.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adults who are experiencing stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm and are looking for a supportive space to better understand themselves and what they’re going through. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, or using coping strategies that no longer feel helpful. Others may feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward, even if things appear stable on the outside. Therapy with me is focused on increasing insight, building emotional regulation, and developing healthier ways of coping so you can feel more grounded, clear, and in control of your life.

My treatment methods

Integrative

I use an integrative approach, which means I draw from different therapeutic methods based on what each person needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. In sessions, we might focus on understanding patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also working on practical ways to manage stress and overwhelm in daily life. I adjust the pace and focus of therapy based on what feels most helpful for you at the time. My approach is grounded, flexible, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you can better understand what you’re experiencing while also finding ways to feel more steady and supported in your day-to-day life.
