I am licensed in Maryland with 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I have worked in various settings from inpatient, to partial hospitalization programs, to intensive outpatient programs to running groups and individual therapy. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

First session
Mine is a collaborative approach. Whether it’s getting to know your wants and needs better and learning to communicate them, dealing with paralyzing anxiety or depression, or dealing with loss and facing a trauma, we work together by building awareness, gaining coping skills and applying this new perspective to becoming the person you want to be. Life is an adventure. Through that adventure we will face obstacles, we will have successes and failures, we will feel exhilarated and feel discouraged and like we cannot give any more. Regardless of the things that have happened so far in our adventure, we have a daily opportunity to make choices that will give us control of the direction of our adventure.
Strengths
I am easygoing and laid back. I like to create a safe environment where a client can connect and feel at ease while working on reaching their goals. I also believe that for us to grow as individuals we must challenge ourselves to step out of our comfort zone. I provide a safe environment where a person can challenge themselves, step out of their comfort zone and grow.
