New to Grow
Hello, my name is Kamika Mason, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and proud USC alum based in Southern California. I value connection and balance in my own life, and I enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as traveling and exploring new places. In my work as a therapist, I use a collaborative and client-centered approach. I draw from Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in building insight, developing practical skills, and creating meaningful change.

I am empathetic and active listener through my therapy approach
I best serve individuals that are open to examining their own thinking, Interested in practical tools, not just talking, willing to be active between sessions, comfortable with structure and goals, and dealing with specific, present-day problems. Someone doesn’t need to be highly motivated or “disciplined”—just willing to try the process and stay engaged long enough to see patterns shift.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Sometime is can include homework between sessions: Things like thought records, journaling, or behavioral experiments and also skills training: Techniques for managing anxiety, depression, stress, etc
