As a first-generation Filipina-American liberation psychologist licensed in California, Washington, and Hawaii, I integrate traditional therapeutic practices with innovative approaches such as psychedelic harm reduction and integration therapy, as well as ketamine assisted psychotherapy. This fusion aims to address challenges like anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the residual effects of intergenerational trauma. By honoring your unique cultural background and personal experiences, we collaboratively work towards fostering wellness, peace, and balance across mind, body, and soul.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming space where they don’t have to perform or hold it all together. I bring a grounded presence, deep compassion, and a sense of humor, because therapy can be both meaningful and deeply human. We’ll explore what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping to shift or understand, and I’ll ask thoughtful questions to get a sense of your history, current challenges, and emotional landscape. You don’t need to have all the answers -we’ll move at your pace, and I’ll meet you where you are. Together, we’ll end the session by identifying some higher-level, meaningful goals to guide our work — whether that’s breaking old patterns, reconnecting with your sense of self, healing past wounds, or moving toward a more grounded and authentic way of being.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe, grounded space where clients feel truly seen, held, and respected. I have a warm, attuned, and collaborative style — and I’m able to meet people where they are, with both depth and humor, which helps ease fear and self-judgment. I bring a strong clinical foundation shaped by over a decade of experience, and I’ve supported clients through trauma, identity exploration, relational wounds, and major life transitions with both skill and sensitivity. What makes my work unique is how I weave together evidence-based modalities like ACT, IFS, and Brainspotting with culturally-informed, somatically-based, and insight-oriented approaches. I also draw on my lived experience as a sensitive, creative person and a cycle-breaker -so I deeply understand what it means to carry a lot, feel deeply, and still choose healing. My clients often tell me they feel safe being their full selves with me, and that I bring a rare balance of gentleness, emotional precision, honesty, and humor to our work.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work best with clients who are motivated, curious, and open to exploring the deeper roots of their emotional patterns. Many of the people I support identify as highly sensitive and empathic, and often taking on the needs of others while minimizing their own. They may be people-pleasers, over-functioners, or caretakers who are ready to understand where those patterns come from and begin the process of unlearning them with compassion. I especially love working with cycle breakers -individuals who are committed to healing intergenerational trauma, challenging family dynamics, or rewriting inherited beliefs that no longer serve them. My ideal clients are thoughtful, self-reflective, and willing to look inward, even when it’s uncomfortable. They're not just seeking symptom relief; they want to get to the root of what keeps them stuck so they can live with more authenticity, clarity, and ease. Together, we create a safe, collaborative space where you can be deeply seen, supported, and empowered to heal.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients move toward greater freedom and alignment with their values, even in the presence of pain or uncertainty. My approach with ACT is compassionate and collaborative, focusing on building psychological flexibility, reducing inner struggle, and supporting clients in taking meaningful action in their lives. I often integrate mindfulness and identity-affirming work into ACT, tailoring it to each client’s lived experience and healing goals.

Brainspotting

I use Brainspotting as a powerful somatic and neurobiological approach to help clients process trauma, emotional blocks, and deeply held patterns that may not always be accessible through talk therapy alone. This method allows us to access the brain’s natural ability to heal by working with where you feel things in the body and the visual field. I hold space with care and attunement, guiding clients gently through the process in a way that feels safe, empowering, and deeply intuitive.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients connect with and heal the different parts of themselves, especially those shaped by trauma, protective roles, or inner conflict. This approach supports clients in accessing their inner wisdom and building a more compassionate, centered relationship with themselves. IFS allows us to gently explore the complexity of your emotional world without judgment, creating space for integration, clarity, and lasting transformation.
