LMHC, 11 years of experience
New to Grow
Finding meaningful connection, navigating grief, healing from trauma, or coping with anxiety and depression can feel overwhelming—but you don't have to do it alone. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are ready to engage in thoughtful, compassionate work to make sense of life’s challenges and pursue greater clarity, freedom, and purpose. My approach is grounded in creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel safe to share your story and move at a pace that feels right for you.
In our first session together, I will take time to truly understand who you are—your values, your relationships, your experiences. Together, we’ll collaborate on a path forward that honors your strengths, integrates personalized insights and interventions, and respects the unique complexity of your life.
What makes my practice unique is my commitment to individualized care. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches and tailor them to fit you—not the other way around. In our work, my hope is that you will find hope, healing, and insights as we work toward your goals and look at your connection to self and the world around you. I am a firm believer that the counseling experience will only be as helpful as the strength of the therapeutic alliance. As such, I take pride in working to create an accepting, non-judgmental, supportive, and safe space to work together.
I bring with me 10+ years of experience and have specialized in working with adolescents through adults and in the areas of trauma recovery and mindfulness.
I utilize ACT to help clients consider their values and rely on values-committed action to move into balance with their goals.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment helps clients tap into their inherent strengths and start from a growth-mindset about their goals, aiding with sidestepping some of the common traps we can find ourselves in when we focus on the negative and what is not working.
Trauma-focused CBT is an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents in the treatment of trauma to mitigate the impact of these events and empower clients in rewriting their own stories. This treatment includes family/caregiver support to bolster the process and cement growth for the longterm.
DBT can be utilized in adjunct or as a primary treatment modality in my work with clients. I turn to DBT for the helpful domains it focuses on in building skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT offers many helpful discrete skills that can be easily taught and practiced.
I utilized EMDR in the treatment of trauma-related clinical needs to help clients that are in need of/interest in more somatic and experiential treatment to mitigate the impact of traumatic experiences.
