I am a Filipina immigrant and dual-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with experience caring for children, adolescents, and adults across a wide spectrum of mental health and developmental needs. My practice is grounded in cultural curiosity and humility, trauma-informed care, and deep respect for the histories, communities, and lived experiences that shape each person’s healing journey. I work with individuals across the lifespan, including those navigating ADHD, autism, sensory differences, learning challenges, giftedness, trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, addiction, and major life transitions. I have a special interest in supporting neurodivergent children, teens, and adults—particularly those whose strengths may have been overlooked or whose differences have been misunderstood within traditional systems of care. My goal is not to “normalize” who you are, but to help you better understand your brain, your nervous system, your relationships, and the environments in which you thrive. My clinical work spans from supporting children and families navigating developmental, behavioral, and emotional challenges to caring for adults living with complex psychiatric conditions, trauma, and substance use disorders. While my foundation is in evidence-based psychiatric assessment, medication management, and psychotherapy, I also believe that healing extends beyond prescriptions. Sleep, nutrition, movement, relationships, purpose, sensory regulation, and connection to community all play essential roles in long-term wellbeing. Although I do not prescribe ketamine or buprenorphine through this platform, my advanced training in addiction medicine, trauma treatment, and psychedelic-assisted therapies allows me to bring a broader, integrative perspective when helping patients navigate complex mental health challenges. My goal is to walk alongside my patients as a collaborative partner—helping them better understand their nervous system, their story, and their strengths, while building sustainable pathways toward healing, resilience, and a more meaningful life.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our initial session is dedicated to understanding the full picture of your health and aspirations. We begin by discussing your immediate goals and current challenges, while also identifying the unique strengths and resources you already possess to build resilience. To provide truly integrative care, I perform a "root-cause" exploration. This includes a detailed health history from birth to the present, covering sleep, nutrition, exercise, and your connection to people and purpose. We will also discuss your exposure to trauma, substances, or environmental toxins, alongside your family history and any existing healing practices. How to Prepare: To maximize our time together, please complete and submit your intake forms at least one week prior to our appointment. If available, please bring or upload: --Recent pertinent lab results. --A current list of medications and supplements (including dosages). --Names and addresses of current/previous providers and your preferred pharmacy. --Dates and facility names for any past psychiatric hospitalizations. While I am dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health care, my practice is best suited for individuals whose conditions can be safely managed in an outpatient or telehealth setting. If you have a history of acute or uncontrolled mental illness that requires frequent in-person evaluations, 24/7 crisis support, or intensive wrap-around services, your needs may be better served by a higher level of care. In these instances, I recommend contacting your local County Behavioral Health Department, as they are equipped to provide the specialized, multi-disciplinary resources necessary for your safety and long-term stabilization.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am committed to actively listening and co-creating care plans with my patients. I believe that your expertise in your own life is just as vital as my clinical knowledge. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that moves at your pace and in your chosen direction. We measure success not just through clinical markers, but by your personal satisfaction and overall sense of wellbeing. My practice is firmly rooted in the latest neurobiological science and clinical experience, while always holding a deep respect for your unique cultural beliefs and healing practices

Medie was extremely warm and understanding. I did not expect her to go through my history with as much attentionto detail as she did. I left the session feeling understood and empowered to tackle my mental health struggles.
