Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Clients can expect a brief introduction and then questions as to what brings you to therapy. We will go as far as you feel comfortable in identifying your needs and goals. I will answer any questions you might have, and we can assess if we are a good fit to work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am very empathic and dedicated to understanding your needs and doing my very best to ensure that you receive the best care possible.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Clients who are ready to address the things that are causing them pain and holding them back from moving forward with their lives. Clients who have some awareness of past trauma and are willing to safely and gently disclose some of these details in order to decrease problematics symptoms and develop more trusting and healthy interpersonal relationships. Clients who are willing to be open and honest with me and know it is a safe and nonjudgmental space for them to heal.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP)

I have found that CBT helps people identify and challenge thoughts and feelings which are not helpful and this can lead to changed behaviors.

Psychodynamic

Often people have unconscious processes from the past that influence their present behavior. This approach helps people understand and become aware of past events so they can find new ways to respond to present events.
