Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Pennsylvania. I received my Master's degree from Grand Canyon University, and I have been practicing for 7 years. I enjoy helping people change their thought distortions and think logically during difficult situations. I like to help them cope with difficult emotions and overcome life’s challenges. I enjoy observing people progress and improve their quality of life by improving their mental health.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During your first appointment, I will spend some time getting to know you. Then, I will ask you what goals you hope to accomplish. Then, we can determine the best steps to take during future sessions to help you reach those goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Throughout my experiences as a therapist, I have always strived to help people identify their strengths. Then, I use their strengths to help them increase their coping skills. Next, we work together to use their copings skills to help them increase their independence. I will use this method to help you be better able to manage your emotions. My goal is to empower you by giving you the tools you need to be better able to manage your emotions.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I like working with people from a range of different age groups, and from many different cultures. I have experience with counseling adults who are in recovery. I have counseled adults who were hospitalized due to experiences they had related to their mental health diagnosis. Also, I have counseled children, and adolescents while working as a school-based therapist. I enjoy helping people increase their coping skills, so they are better able to manage their emotions, and I look forward to starting this therapeutic journey with you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I was introduced to CBT while studying at Chatham University. In my practice I use CBT to help people understand how their thoughts influence their behaviors. Then, I help people change their negative thoughts to positive thoughts to help them reach their goals and improve their mood.
