(she/her)
Hi, I'm Alana Quinones, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and founder of Sol Haven Wellness. I believe everyone deserves a space to show up exactly as they are; no masks, no judgment, no pretending. Your authenticity isn't something to work toward here; it's something you bring through the door from day one. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply a season of feeling lost; I'm here for it. Together, we'll honor your story, acknowledge your strengths, and work toward a life that genuinely feels like yours. This is your haven. I'm glad you found it.
From the moment you arrive, you'll be met with warmth, ease, and zero judgment. Your comfort is everything here. We'll start by getting to know you, your story, your concerns, and what brought you to this moment. There's no pressure to have it all figured out. You're welcome to share at your own pace, ask questions, and simply get a feel for what this space can be for you. By the end of our first session together, you'll leave with a clearer sense of direction, a personalized plan rooted in your unique needs, and something that can be hard to find, real hope for what's ahead. This is where your story starts to shift.
My greatest strength is making people feel safe enough to be real, and then helping them discover just how capable they already are. I bring a warm, nonjudgmental presence to every session, meeting clients exactly where they are without rush or agenda. My approach is trauma-informed and evidence-based, meaning every tool and technique is thoughtfully chosen for you, not a generic playbook. Where I truly shine is in sitting with someone in their hardest moments and helping them find the light they couldn't see alone. We uncover the strength that was always within them, build resilience that lasts, and begin moving toward a future that finally feels possible. At the heart of it all is a deep, unwavering belief that every person is worthy of healing and fully capable of creating a life that feels whole.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps people deal with difficult thoughts and emotions by teaching them to accept rather than avoid them. It focuses on mindfulness, staying present in the moment, and recognizing that thoughts are just thoughts—not something to control your life. ACT encourages identifying what truly matters to you (your values) and taking steps to live in line with those values, even when facing challenges. It’s often used to treat anxiety, depression, stress, and chronic pain, helping people live fuller, more meaningful lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that helps people understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. It focuses on identifying negative or unhelpful thought patterns and learning to challenge and replace them with more realistic and positive ones. CBT also teaches practical strategies to manage difficult emotions and change behaviors that may be making problems worse. It’s structured, goal-oriented, and works well for issues like anxiety, depression, stress, and phobias, helping people build healthier thinking and coping skills.
Attachment-based
Attachment therapy focuses on improving emotional bonds and relationships, especially those affected by early-life experiences. It helps people understand how their early relationships, particularly with caregivers, shape their current emotional patterns and behavior. The therapy works to heal attachment wounds, foster secure relationships, and build trust and connection. It’s often used for issues like relationship difficulties, trauma, or struggles with intimacy and emotional regulation, helping individuals create healthier and more fulfilling connections with others.
Humanistic
Humanistic therapy focuses on helping people explore their feelings, self-worth, and potential for personal growth. It emphasizes the belief that everyone has the capacity for self-healing and making positive life changes when given the right support and environment. This therapy is client-centered, meaning the therapist provides empathy, acceptance, and understanding without judgment. It’s often used for issues like low self-esteem, stress, and personal challenges, encouraging individuals to discover their true selves and live more authentically.
