I am Cindy Arrington, I received my Master's of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2012 from Winston-Salem State University. I and am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor - Associate. I have 5 years of experience working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor to assist with job development, placement and follow-up. I have 4 years of experience working as a mental health and substance use counselor. I enjoy meeting my patients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, and substance use to help them heal and grow to become the best versions of themselves.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing and your most important priority to focus on in therapy. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with patients for the past 9 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you(a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress of healing and personal growth.

As always, Mrs. Arrington is wonderful in her way of helping ease stressor, finding solutions to circumvent issues I'm dealing with and overall, her human side in knowing and understanding that the issues most veterans are dealing with are real. She's a valued person and I enjoy her giving her time to help me with the things I'm dealing with.

I feel blessed to have found a therapist like Cindy! I just finished my second session with her, but I started feeling better and to see changes on myself after the first session! She’s very professional, respectful, supportive, warm, knowledgeable and caring. I am looking forward for what is coming for my journey guided by all the powerful resources she has shared with me! Thank you so much!
