LMFT, 10 years of experience
Welcome, my name is Alex and I would love the opportunity to teach you how to use mindfulness techniques to create lasting changes in your life. Are you overwhelmed, critical of yourself or have difficulty regulating your emotions? I empower high-functioning adults (18 years and older only) to overcome difficult life situations from the past and present. By integrating mindfulness, spirituality, yoga, breath work and journaling we will collaborate to find what best supports you in calming your mind, body and spirit so that you can create a safe space within. I look forward to working together and helping you create a self-care routine that helps you get through life’s difficulties.
In our first session together we will talk about what brings you to therapy at this time in your life, review any major life events and/or relationships in your life, answer questions we both may have for one another and develop a sense of who we are and how we will work together to help you in reaching your goals for healing.
My strengths lie in helping clients feel safe to process difficult emotions, deal with life transitions, process grief and trauma as it is stored in the body and use humor when appropriate to highlight the positive moments we share together. I believe my biggest strength is connection with others on a human level and meeting people where they are without judgement.
Adults 18+, people open to mindfulness techniques such as meditation and breath work.
I support clients in learning to rely on and trust themselves as they navigate their experience.

My therapist’s compassion and open-mindedness make every session a safe space to grow. She listens without judgment, offers genuine support, and helps me feel empowered with every step. Her kindness is healing, and I’m truly grateful for the journey I'm on.

I love her integration of breath work and her own personality into the sessions, felt like we really got to know one another and as she was my first therapist ive now realized that I should have maybe continued sessions with her as she was wonderful and I wish I had her advice when things got difficult instead of doing everything on my own becuase thats when things got hard for me.
