Hello, I'm Rebecca a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and also a board-certified Adult-Geriatric primary care nurse practitioner. I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years. Proper mental health care has so much to do with one's overall health and is essential to living a healthy life. I want you to be able to enjoy your days and with effective treatment, I believe together this goal can be achieved. I have a personal goal to improve mental health knowledge.
During our first session, we will discuss what has brought you to the session. I will be obtaining a mental and medical history including a list of current and past medications. At the end of the session, we will also discuss goals and a treatment plan.
Through good communication and following evidenced-based practices whether with psychotherapy treatment, pharmacological treatment, or a combination of both, together we will determine the best treatment plan to reach maximum potential.
Preconceptions of mental health conditions can have a significant impact on one's life as they may prevent many from seeking the care needed to improve their life. I have a professional goal to improve mental health knowledge in the community to decrease the stigma that is placed on mental health.

She asked plenty of questions to understand exactly how I was feeling, and made sure my depression and anxiety screenings were up to date so we could work with the most recent data. She also listened to all of my issues and questions and did not judge in any way
